Excuse me ma'am but did I say that I am not going to buy anything. With the money I saved to buy MW2, I'm going to buy Borderlands. I'm not going to buy MW2 because they raised the price. Most people in this country feels the same way too. I don't care what you say, really. I'm a pirate, I'm still going to pirate. I don't feel great about it but hey.Irishhoodlum said:So? I don't even have $50 right now, and instead of being a lazy dick who can't earn his money, I'll choose to buy only Assassin's Creed when it comes out and HOLD OFF on MW2 until A. it gets good reviews B. the price drops, and C. I earn enough to buy it.ph3onix said:Wait, so you're blaming me for pirating it. Even tho I live in Serbia, One Euro is 93 Dinars, and I have so much money that I could probably buy two games every year. Plus they raised the price and removed the servers and by doing so made PC gamers furious. I actually made plans to save up money and buy the game but then BOOM!"No more servers for you blokes and we'll raise the price too!" said Activision/Infinity Ward/Whoever.
Also most player content is actually sweet, and if you know where to look you'll find some pretty awesome stuff.
Question: Do you actually play anything on the PC?
EDIT: Oh yeah, and even the "Shit flavours" are interesting.
EDIT #2: (Net broke) They risked piracy by doing what I already mentioned.
You keep bitching about how you're so sad that MW2 won't have Dedicated servers, but all you're really doing is trying to justify pirating the game. Chances are you'd pirate it even if they DID have the Dedicated servers. And really now? So they don't have them, they obviously still have a product you want if you're going to take the time to get it, so you should fucking PAY FOR IT.
I have a gaming PC by the way, and I can say that it's because of prats who pirate (such as yourself) that good games (AC2 for example) are being delayed on the PC, and that developers are just dropping PC titles all together for their more lucrative console counterparts. We won't even fucking HAVE mods for these games anymore if people keep pirating because they won't EXIST ON PCS ANYMORE.
Are you aware that most "Stock" Tf2 maps are actually player made content that impressed valve?Paragon Fury said:snipety snip
It's £35 on Amazon.Sulu said:Order it from www.play.com and it will only cost you £45. The PC version should be the same as that too!
It should only be $90-$100 at JB Hifi. Only EB sells games at extremely high prices.Korolev said:It's going to be 120 dollars here in Australia.
ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS.
No.
No sale.
No way.
Activision do have a right to charge whatever the hell they want for their game. After all, they are the publishers. There's nothing immoral about what they are doing.
Still - not buying it. Not until it drops down to a price I find acceptable.
And besides, no dedicated servers? Multiplayer is dead for me.
Well, It actually is more expensive. Activision decided they wanted to price it higher, because people were going to buy it anyway. For example, it's priced 59.99 Euros on Steam, while all other new games are 49.99.Mr.Black said:Higher price tag? It's just as expensive as all the other big hitters this year. But I agree with all the other awesome games that are out. I still have to get my hands on Tekken 6, Borderlands, L4D2, AC2. zomg so manyQuick Ben said:I'm going to wait until it gets cheaper. It's already got a higher price tag than most games, and I have plenty of other games I want in the upcoming months, so the choice is easy. I can't get all at once anyway...![]()
I recently got Morrowind and didn't want to look at it because it was so ugly.Paragon Fury said:I know some of them started out as mods. And I didn't care about them back then either. Thats just some more recent titles, or the ones I still play. I can't remember every game I've played for PC after all this time.
And a good chunk live on through player made content? The only games that applies to are WiC, TF2 and CS:S. The others don't allow mods in the general populace, and single player games don't "die", because they were never alive to start with.
Thank you!KaiRai said:*TO EVERYONE WHO LIVES IN THE UK AND IT GETTING THIS GAME - READ THIS NEXT PART!

So don't buy it? A new plasma TV would cost me a few grand, but do you see me stealing it because I can't afford that? No? Exactly. I can't stand these kids who steal online, but wouldn't have the guts to do it without the risk. Especially when what you're stealing would require a day of extra work. There are half a dozen games I'd like to get right now (read: Uncharted 2), but I'll hold off until I have the money.ph3onix said:Excuse me ma'am but did I say that I am not going to buy anything. Yes! I would pirate it if it had Dedicated Servers! Why? Because of the fact that They raised the price
It's alright tho, you can call me a dick or prat or whatever. Just shows how immature you are.
Plus: I'm 14, how do you expect me to get money?
Interesting fact: I started saving up for this in April 2009.
I still file that under the "Oblivion" catagory, because they're at least trying to be helpful.miracleofsound said:I recently got Morrowind and didn't want to look at it because it was so ugly.Paragon Fury said:I know some of them started out as mods. Four user created mods later, it was one of the prettiest looking games I've seen.
What can possibly be bad about that?
Come on! If ya think you're hard enough!Irishhoodlum said:So don't buy it? A new plasma TV would cost me a few grand, but do you see me stealing it because I can't afford that? No? Exactly. You're 14? So? I'm only 17 and I still buy my own games, have been for years. I'm going to give you some advice that you can apply to the rest of your life. You ready for this? Ready? This is going to be mind blowing, I assure you;
GET A JOB.
I love the irony of being called immature by not only someone who's so lazy they'd rather steal than support game developers -essentially shooting yourself in the foot if you're a PC gamer-, but who's also barely a into his teens.
You're not near ready to debate this buddy because you've already lost.
Holy shit, are you kidding? If not, I might get it before Christmas after all...KaiRai said:*TO EVERYONE WHO LIVES IN THE UK AND IT GETTING THIS GAME - READ THIS NEXT PART!
