I think they're more of a challenge than sniper campers. Easier to deal with

they should patch that shit, they uh care package glitch were if you hold the smoke you run around like your on crack. they fix that then I don't care if they want to rush atleast it would be a little fairer.

Its sucks because they patched it up on the PC version a while ago. not to mention a new infinite care package glitch.

I hate rushing in that game. Mainly because the person is either CP glitching or wielding 1887s.

I think they fixed the infinite care package glitch on xbox last time I played at a friends I didn't see anyone use it.

Neither is wrong.

If you are competent then rushers aren't an issue (although they can run over claymores). When they run around with care packages realize they are, be aware. A swift shotgun to the face makes them think twice about running around corners with reckless abandon.

Campers are only bad if you have no skill. The camper simply uses ambush to their advantage, do you think that in war there aren't "campers"? The camper is at a disadvantage because anytime you kill someone they know where you are. I get accused of camping all the time. I don't camp I snipe. Just because I decide to snipe with an M-16 doesn't mean I'm a camper.

Both are strategies that are easy to combat, one with a shotgun and the other with the proper application of high explosives. You just have to play it right. There are many strategies that are formed. But for every strategy of attack there are numerous ways to combat it. People just have to realize this. Adapt or die : P

I agree, camping is unfair and is just annoying, especially when the person camping is hidden in a rooms dark corner. I am the type of player that likes to run around the map getting kills, instead of waiting for the other players to come to me, something I found easy to do in COD4 but not in MW2. Rushing on the other hand is not as bad, annoying, but when they rush you there still is a good chance to kill them.

It is now normal to see at least one player using a "Rush" class (tac.knife,marathon,lightweight/care package) per game

Many speculations have formed over weather "rushing" is as bad as "Camping"

BUT...

if you think about it, rush is the exact opposite of camping.

I like the call them Runners, with a well timed shotgun blast will take them down before they get you.

I like to play as a tank often: Riot Shield, shotgun bling, sticky grenade, martyrdom, marathon.

There's nothing wrongwith either tactic and both can be easily defeated.
Rushing with a SMg burst to the face, Camping with the proper application of high explosives or bullets.

I use a rush class to counter the thermal scope tards that like to hide in the corners. I dont really use the tac knife with it though, just a silenced sub machine gun (P90) and rafficas. Its fun to watch people panic when u get in their spawn and fuck shit up.

Well a lot of people camp to get a good K/D Spread, which is pretty much all its good for. Which is pretty stupid, IMO

Indeed, why can't people just use moderation in their tactics? Why a rusher or a camper? Why not a little bit of both.

Campers are hated because they like to find glitches and just sit there where no one can touch them. If the player is out in plain sight, I don't see anything wrong with that. That's the way the game is supposed to be played.

Actually, I've always found it perfectly acceptable for people to just sit where they are. I've never heard the definition of a camper as specifically being who exploits glitches. If you're sniping then you're going to camp.

Why people want to dictate how others play is beyond me.

especially when you find a place where lots of peopel go, yeah I might have a jump on people but I kill people because I'm better than them not because I'm camping

besides I kill campers all the time.

I persoanlly don't find anything wrong with camping in that game and rushing classes are just silly. Obnoxious but usually not very good so you can usually gun them down before they get too close

Pretty much this. I can't even count the number of times i've been called a camper in SEARCH AND DESTROY for protecting my team's bomb from being defused. Wtf. haha
