I've always called myself a gamer, my first gaming memory was my brother (or was it sister?) handing me Super Mario Land when I was 2. That would be '96.

i shall say when i was six. My brother had a nes and the duo duckhunt and super mario bros. was when it started but when i had the realization that i was sort of nerdy for video games was about 13 but thought guys did not like girls liked it when they played video games because my brother always disliked it when i played. but my attitudes have changed

yo could never shoot that son of a ***** dog!

I can't remember the exact first game i picked up, i've been playing games since before i was 3. I'm now about to turn 21 and never looked back.

I started on a ZX Spectrum and Amiga A500(then 600 then 1200 before PC)

I now game on a PS3 and a gaming PC which has a soundcard more powerful than my entire first pc(it has an X-Fi Platinum Champion)

Its amazing how things change

i wish people would read the rules before posting. Posting a useless option with your poll defeats the entire purpose of it. *sighz*

The posting rules for this section actually encourage opinions within polls. My polls falls perfectly within the rules of the forum. You might wanna brush up on the rules again before referencing them next time.

Whenever the game "Alien Trilogy" arrived on the PS1, I was about 5 or 6 when I got it, completed it for the first time at 8.

Dunno, i'm born in 88, and i've played games from before i can remember anything. I know this cause my parents have told me, that i played games before i could even talk. The games back then we're ofc a lot simpler than todays games.
So i woudl guess around 89-90

The first games i remember though would prolly have to be commander keen.

Played the original Halo:CE with my bro before he became a PC gamer. I'll miss those days of being head-shotted from across Blood Gulch. It was just the start of my descent into nerdiness. What really brought me into gaming, though, was playing KOTOR. So fun and almost made you play multiple times. It's on my list of best games ever.

I think for me it was 1989 when my parents gave my older brother and I our very first system- NES. I remember Duck Hunt and that evil laughing dog. Also, the super large by today's standards clunky joystick. Good times. :)
