Poll: Mortal Kombat Ninjas or Naruto Ninjas?

Naruto ninjas are better all round. I mean more than 1 guy can punch someone, WITH LIGHTNING! Plus Naruto's the best ninja ever, he wears bright orange on a sneaking mission AND DOESNT GET SEEN! that is what we call a fuckin' Ninja ;D
And if this is a "Vs" scenario then Minato can easily solo, hell he basically won an entire war by himself...Sub Zero got nothing on that

Sorry, I didn't watch any Dragonball after the Frieza arc. I'd already moved on to Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and Outlaw Star by the time they even started showing the Cell saga. ^^;

Closest I've come to the series in years is DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3...which is a blast, come to think of it.

Well you still win Awesome Points for all those Animes. I love every one of those, but sadly I never saw the end of Yu Yu Hakusho and I was seriously pissed when I missed the Final Episode of Outlaw Star. Toonami never showed it again

Gotta go out to Best Buy and get the whole series.

Not that anyone in Naruto can kill Scorpion..because he can't really die after all.

Like Hidan? Shikamaru dealt with him pretty well (tricking him into killing his partner, blowing him apart, and trapping his head in a warded pit).

Well thank god I'm one of the exceptions. As much as I like Naruto for the story and soley because I hated it until the Akatasuki came in I can still be fair in my judgement.
However I kinda grew up with Mortal Kombat and it was my first ever Mature game at the age of 6

Yeah...I started playing MK when I was around seven, played a little bit of MK3, then kinda fell off the series. The gore doesn't interest me, and none of the gameplay has looked interesting enough for me to bother with, compared to my favored fighters. I can kinda say the same about Street Fighter, come to think of it.

Naruto, on the other hand...started reading it right out of college, and I like it quite a bit so far. Of course, I'm also something the internet says shouldn't exist (someone with no strong opinion on Sasuke one way or the other), so I might be an outlier of some kind.

Then why don't they do that for everything? Because it doesn't work.
You aren't far enough into Naruto to see that they pretty never use that again after a certain point.
On the other hand I can think quite a few ninja that are stronger than all of the ninja's in Naruto put together.

If it's the first then I would go with both because they both sneak and what not besides Naruto. Then again, not everyone in Mortal Kombat is a ninja.

If it's the second then I'll have to choose the midgets who can summon giant animals, re-animate the dead, create natural disasters by putting their hands together and yelling one word and transform into demon things that self heal.

It does if you're playing the Clash of Ninja series and have 3/4 of a chakra bar...which I freely admit that I enjoy a lot more than Mortal Kombat.

Yeah, but then, Scorpion only uses his fatality against people he's basically already killed, so arguing appearances is kind of a wash.

on a note, ninja as a definition is closer to mercenary than anything else, so yeah, Naruto ninjas are closer to ninjas than MK
MK ninjas can
1) be killed in a one on one fight no matter who they're paired up against
2) have no super powers capable of killing hundreds if not thousands of people all at once
3) all rely on close range techniques which are all practically slash-slash-stab-punch-kick
4) all wear obvious outfits that make them stand out even if their pulling off an assassination while Naruto ninjas can blend in with the crowds,

Naruto ninjas
1) have (at least some) hypnotic techniques capable of deflecting any attack or incapacitating any opponent of even manipulate the world around themselves to do practically anything
2) don't have to wear spandex jumpsuits to be good at what they do
3) even the really old characters could kick ass
4) could bring back the dead
5) could suck out souls
6) good at any range
7) walk on walls, ceilings, and could leap or fly hundreds of feet
8) a dog could rip apart an MK ninja


when you know these facts, it's obvious who would win and who is better
even the little kids of Naruto could kick any MK ninja's ass

I'm pretty sure some of the older ones could, but they wouldn't show that.
So my options are brutally beaten or get punched with lightning, experience nightmare worlds of pain, hacked in half with giant swords, eaten by massive animals, have my limbs fly off because a guy looked at me, get crushed to death by sand, get destroyed by an almighty wind powerful enough to destroy villages because a guy extended his arms forward etc...
