Alright, so I apparently hit my head rather hard on the concrete a few days ago, as I now embark on a rather pointless and trivial quest. This saturday, when I'm off work, I'm going to walk around downtown Charlotte wearing a sign that says "Free Hugs". I've always wanted to know whether or not people'd take me up on my offer.

Question being, if you saw someone standing on the sidewalk, with a sign that said "Free Hugs", would you take one? Why/Why Not?

Also, refer to the poll if you so desire.

Probably not. I'm not a particularly cuddly person to be honest.

EDIT: Mind you, I would probably be oddly interested in the results, so, heck, record it if you so chose to.

Well, truth be told, it would depend on how, for lack of a better a word, depend on how clean you looked. But yes, I probably would.

Depends on the person. Hot girl, definetely. Sweaty fat guy? Not so much.
Well, I'm a man, weigh in at around 160 pounds, so I guess that answers your question.

I likely wouldn't, as I generally hate being the one to touch other people (Eww, germs). It's fine the other way around though.

But you should totally record it for the lulz.

Am I drunk?

Actually, either way is pretty redundant, if I'm drunk it doesn't matter if you've got a sign.

Wups. I thought I was answering the question in the OP in the poll.

No matter. I wouldn't have taken you up on the hug-offer, and I don't think the results will be interesting enough to warrant a video. I am not very fond of hugging random strangers.

I work in an office building. It's expected of you to be hygienic and clean cut. Although this fact is apparently missed on some of my co-workers..

Yes, you're positively hammered.

I've actually had the experience. As much as I'd like to say that I'd hug the guy, in real life I shuffled past him as quickly as I could.

Well I own a t-shirt that says free hugs on it, and about one person an hour takes me up on it in a busy city centre. Usually it's teenagers, but the occasional older person does too!

I think it would depend entirely on who was wearing the sign.
If they looked awesome and or Smoking Hot then yes
If they looked freaky, scary and stalkery then No
Now you can't fault that logic XD

Already done, my friend. One of the most watched Youtube videos too.
You need to get AHEAD of the competition, bro.

(But I'd hug you)

That doesn't sound fat. Unless you're like 3'6". ARE YA SWEATY?!
Well, I'm not going to be an arrogant douche and say it's all muscle, but I'm far from fat, my good sir.

And no, I don't usually sweat.
