It's a spectacular deal.
Five stellar games for a bargain price.

Easily a five out of five.

Other than that, go into more detail in your reviews.

I gave it a 2/5 by accident, I meant to give it a 1/5. To be quite honest, I found that Portal was the only worthwhile game in the whole thing. While Half-life 2 was fun for the first few levels, once I got to Ravenholm, the whole thing caved in on itself. It simply stopped being fun, and I never wanted to play it again. And I'm not even gonna bother with the other Episodes. As for Team Fortress 2, as much as I wanted to like that game, I simply couldn't. I've played dozens of matches, and never once did I find myself enjoying it. And I think the problem simply is that I don't like team-based games in general. I prefer run 'n' guns, like Halo or Unreal Tournament, where everyone starts out on even footing and you simply go around and pick up weapons. Oh well, I'm still sort of glad I got it, since Portal was an amazing game, but I still kind of wish I had just gotten Portal seperately instead of getting it alongside a bunch of games I will never play.
Dude, Ravenholm was the worst part of the game for most people, you should have given it a chance.

Now, The Half life Series. Racks up a good 4 hours per game. very good storyline, and epic weapons that will not only blow your mind, It will blow the mind off of anything in your way. Weapons such as Crowbars, shotguns, and Grenades will make this game series make everybody love puzzles and Violence.
The Episodes are around 4 hours, but on what planet is HL2 only 4 hours? That game was loooonng.

Many of you will agree that Orange Box is a must have game. It has 5 games including Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.
Most of these games taake about 4 to 5 hours to finish, but Team Fortress 2 for the online people, racks up a good 60 + Hours Easily.
Now, TF2 is a game where you have 9 classes, and teams for 4v4, to 16v16. Now, with that, there comes an achievment system. The one thing about it, is like most rants to get achievements, it takes forever to get an achievement. Example, Some can be easy, such as OMGWTFBBQ, which is killing enemies with a taunt as pyro. Some, can be as hard as, play 1 round without firing a shot, and finish the game on the top of the leader board. Very fun game.
Portal, the 5th and last game on the orange box. Racks of 2 hours, and has great replayability with advanced levels making you pull your hair out. Now, It follows Chell making her way through puzzles with the Portal gun, or ASPHD, if you want. Now, the huge plot twist is, most people go insane through the test, and GLaDOS, the main agatonist, betrays you and ends with an epic showdown of poison, a fire pit, and a very big explosion, followed by a fall.

Honestly, I give this game 5/5, because of its replayability, and it is a great deal.
Woah, woah, woah, woah woah, over used joke...woah It took you 4 hrs. to beat the REAL half-life 2, You must have cheated!
(btw. Curse for spoiling the end of Portal for me! *hisssss*)

Aha, I thought I was the only one that had two copies of the Orange Box.
One for the PC, one for the 360.
Ditto here, I have the EXACT same formats.

Waaaaait, where is the game play? Sound? Graphics? ANYTHING?!

....Mention of some of the story line? Further in-depth weapon mentioning? Game play? Graphics? Sound? Anything?

Portal, the 5th and last game on the orange box. Racks of 2 hours, and has great re-playability with advanced levels making you pull your hair out. Now, It follows Chell making her way through puzzles with the Portal gun, or ASPHD, if you want. Now, the huge plot twist is, most people go insane through the test, and GLaDOS, the main antagonist, betrays you and ends with an epic showdown of poison, a fire pit, and a very big explosion, followed by a fall.
Once again, no mention of game play, graphics, you gave away spoilers, no sound mention and poor punctuation, not to mention no proper paragraphing.

....Why? Why are they re-playable? You mention almost nothing!

Your review needs to be better punctuated, more fleshed out, more in depth and just all around better in every aspect of a normal review.
Grade:F
Yeah, I am New to reviewing. i just like the game. Also, the replayability is because achievements are hard and you have to revisit the level and try to get it...

Try to use more words, because if you had said "Now" one more time I'd have thought this was a bad joke.

Also you need to explain things in a review, you gave a weak summary.

Problem is I'm stuck, and out of ammo(I suck with the Gravity Gun). Unless, by some miracle, I manage to get past that part, I'm done with the Half-life series.

That'd be a shame, the rest of the game (and hell, even Ravenholm when you go back on later playthroughs) is great. My advice: find a saw blade, a radiator, or a cinder block. Those tend to be the best weapons with the gravity gun. I know you said you aren't good with the GG, but nobody is at first, and Ravenholm is really there to make sure you're at least passable with it.

I say 4/5 because even though I liked the main story parts a lot, the advanced maps on portal and some of the other objectives seem to overstep "challenging" into "frustrating" territory. Also, Team Fortress 2 needs more maps, and capture the flag always takes at least 20 minutes whenever I play it, and I end up getting really bored. The rest is fine, and that's a lot of stuff to play for just $60!!

Easily 5/5, it's one of the best game purchase I have ever made, especially since I hadn't played Half Life 2 or Episode 1 before.

Years? It's not even like- HOLY CRAP it's been a year and a half already?? Still, not years. I hate it when people already forget games after a year or so, I still play the original HL2.

Anyway, if you're a PC gamer, don't forget all the possibilities that owning the Orange Box brings you. Yes, I'm speaking of mods. Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2, Eternal Silence and Fortress Forever are just a few to name, there's Zombie Panic, D.I.P.R.I.P too, and lots more. And all are total conversion mods. How about that for a game seller?

This game-pack is a clear 5/5, not only because of HL2, an amazing FPS adventure and TF2, one of the coolest online FPS'es available, but because of Portal, the Mona Lisa of modern games.

I was so unimpressed with Half-Life 2 that I never bothered to get the episodes or anything. I'll just refrain from voting, but really... they took out most of the cool guns and expect us to say "wow"? The boat gauss gun doesn't count, and the gluon gun is nowhere to be found, along with the ingenuity that lead to most of the cool bosses in Half-Life 2... giant armored thingy with burner hands and a tendency to stomp on lost little scientists, anyone? Or how about a giant headcrab thingy that drops tiny little headcrabs? Or the Nihilanth?

The levels were just so much less interesting in the sequel. Sure they could be rather flipped-out in the first game, but in a good way...

I rated based on the individual games deserving a point or not. Maybe that's because I'm rather careful with money, but games that include more than one, well, game. . . I tend to want to enjoy all 5 of them, or else I feel like my money wasn't well-spent.

So right off the bat, I gave a point to Portal and Team Fortress 2. The gameplay in Team Fortress 2 is rather simple in terms of match types (Shoot other color, shoot other color while on bases, shoot other color while pushing cart. . .), but the fact it's online and popular makes replay ability a huge deal in it. There is ALWAYS someone online to play with, and by someone, I mean it feels like a whole city's worth. And Portal, while rather rail-roaded, at least offered some fun in trying to figure out how to do puzzles differently. Hell, I had fun WATCHING people do puzzles differently. The audio of both is well-done, leaving me chuckling each time I play from GLaDOS' comments about cake to the Scout's repetitive "Need a teleporter here!". The graphics are pretty slick, given the requirements needed to play -- never really saw much in terms of rag-doll errors, clipping, or anything like that.

But Half-Life 2 and its sequels felt like faceplants, to me. Half-Life 2 was the first one I played, since it only makes sense that 2 goes first, followed by 2-1, then 2-2. The story wasn't anything interesting, and I found myself jumping around the rooms when people talked, wanting to just get out there and shoot some people. Normally, I'm a huge sucker for stories, but this one just couldn't catch my interest whatsoever. Once I got to shooting people, I found shooting them with the many guns that I had at my disposal was a waste of time, as I seemed to have enough Magnum (Was it a Magnum? Haven't played in so long) and Crossbow ammo to keep me going that nothing else really mattered. Nothing noteworthy from the audio that comes to mind, and the graphics were pretty average. I couldn't find myself having fun with it.

Then I threw on Half-Life 2: Episode 1 -- which still doesn't make sense to me, as shouldn't it be the second episode? -- because I at least thought maybe it'd pick up storywise. Nope. Found myself still bored, still wanting to shoot things. Except I noticed a little achievement about only shooting one bullet, so I did that for a challenge. It wasn't much of one; did it on my first try, leaving me stranded with a game that I just couldn't see myself playing again. It had nothing more appealing to it than the first one did -- same boring audio, same graphics, same ugh. I wish I could comment on Episode 2, but I never actually really finished it, because by this time I was so bored of Gordon and his athletic ability to jump around rooms while people talked that I gave up mid-way.

So none of the Half-Life games got a point, which is why I gave the Orange Box a 2/5. However, it's the exception to the compilation boxes I've found; Portal and Team Fortress 2 picked up enough slack that I feel it was worth the money.

Great Game, Epic Single-player campaign, and Unique Multiplayer games. You'll never get tired of this game. And now it's only 20 dollars.
