I loved fable and fable lost chapters and I still play'em both but fable II was shit and I'm pretty sure fable III will be even worse.

I loved Fable, Fable 2 was really fun to play, disappointing, but still fun. I think Fable 3 will be the closest thing to what PM promised Fable would be haha.

I'll probably still be disappointed, but that doesn't mean I won't enjoy playing it.

For reasons partially related to the lack of XBox ownership, I've never stumbled into the Fable series of games yet. While I will admit that Peter Molynoux has been on a decline in quality from his yesteryears. That said, I have tried just about every franchise he's created, even wayyyy back to Theme Park and Populus. I look forward to giving this IP a try. Maybe they've gotten all the bugs out by now.

I appear to be the only person in the world that thought that the original fable was better then Fable 2. I think I'll get it eventually although it's not at the top of my priorities.

I'm really looking forward to it. I love the Fable series. Though Pete does tend to over hype things. Ignoring the hype helps. The more you ignore it the better the game seems to be .

Fable- Bought it on release, didn't even remotely live up to expectations. Sold it, later reaqcuired it because it came free with a magazine I usually buy.

Fable 2- You know what? This is it! Everything that the first Fable had promised and failed to deliver, it's here. Oh wait... no, it isn't.

Fable 3- Fuck you, I'll keep my money this time, and hey, maybe I'll get it free with a magazine someday as well. That way I don't have to pay for the priviledge to get disapointed.

Yes. I'm good enough at controlling my expectations that I have nothing to fear from the over-hyping that so many seem to fall prey to, and I've rather enjoyed the Fable games for their "hero simulator" style and folktale-inspired game world.

This game looks absolutely fantastic. Now, while Molyneux has.. Disappointed us before, the way he talks about past failures, and the way he talks about how the world of Fable is changing, how it is all about power.. Ugh, I love it. I can't help but love Molyneux. I can't help but love Fable. I am so damn excited about this.

Fable 3 actually sounds like it'll be quite good. But Fable 2 was TERRIBLE compared to the first one, so I don't know whether I'm convinced or not. I'm sort of inbetween excited and not.
