If they're 14-18, I'd probably have already had "the talk" with them. I would make sure to give them a proper talk about adblockers/adware/spyware/trojans and how much more important they are when it comes to porn though. Depending on how embarrassed I was catching them with porn(and what they were probably doing while watching porn), I might decide to have a more open conversation about sexuality to try and make sure they aren't ashamed of sexual things in general.

Pretty much this, but remaining within the zone of.. real people, not anime. (Some though, I'll.. admit) As well, attempt to answer any curiosities and questions my child might have. Like a natural, non-insecure parent would do.

I have never been caught watching porn but I've been close.
And it really depends on whether I'd flip or not. Depends what kind of porn it is. Really the only thing I'd be asking "what the fuck?" about is if it was Futanari and even then maybe I'd understand.

I've never been caught. I think if I had kids, and caught them, I'd probably handle it differently depending on what age they are. Wouldn't make it any less awkward compared to actually knowing they watch it, then just knowing in my head that they do though. lol

My mom found some magazines under my bed a million years ago when I was but a wee lad. She didn't make a big deal out of it, because it's not really a big deal.

I was embarrassed, sure, but she did a pretty great job on damage control with my ego.

A topic i'm sure has been done to death, but i got curious. Have you ever been caught looking at porn or had your parents discover porn on your laptop / tv / other? I have once long ago. My mum reacted badly to it despite me being 16 years old and using the 'at least i'm looking at naked ladies and not reasoning. This was probably due to her growing up in a very repressed period where sex and whatnot as all viewed as evil / sinful / whatever, as my parents even now cringe whenever sex is on TV in a movie or TV show or something and it's still a very taboo subject for them. However as i'm pretty much an adult myself being close to 20 now, i reflected on that and thought that i wouldn't get mad at my kids if i found they'd been looking at pornographic material - it's perfectly normal during puberty, right? As long as it wasn't illegal stuff and they were discreet about it, i don't see much of a problem with it, although i'd probably have 'that talk' with them about it.

The age i'm talking about here is roughly 14-18 for argument's sake.

I'm not supporting porn or anything, but seriously your parents are weird. If you're 16 in my country that's at least a legal age to ACTUALLY HAVE sex, so what's the big deal about watching it? And, wtf, there reasoning makes all children, little sins.

Considering that "The Talk" with my dad was the sentence: "No means no, and always wear a condom" I´m not sure he would have much to say If he walked in on me.

I´m not sure what I would do if I walked in on my own kids. Probably just turn around and walk it off...

Just got to thinking: Look at some of the perverted shit that´s out there. And then imagine what "perverted" is in 20 years.

If it was normal porn, it's ok, just don't let me see it (unless it's good), and no masturbating when others are in the house. If it's something weird (like game characters, hentai, beastiality etc), then there might be some repercussions. As in, therapy.

Caught watching/looking at porn? Nope, that's never happened, but years ago it came to light that I had been, though the material they caught me with was rather benign - no more explicit than say... what you might see on page 3 of The Sun. So basically just pictures/video of women who were not wearing clothing. Them catching me didn't stop me of course, I just found ways to be more subtle until they'd catch me some other way (never in the act of looking at it mind you, they'd just go digging and find the files) and I'd think of something else. Eventually I devised a system that was basically infallible, and they never caught me again[footnote]Ordinary parents probably wouldn't have ever caught me in the first place, but my dad's livelihood is computers and he was fairly obsessive about combing through the contents of our hard drives.[/footnote].

It wasn't until several years after anyone stopped bothering to scrutinize the contents of my hard drives that I moved away from my "I only partake of the softest of the softcore" habits towards more explicit fare, albeit explicit pornography of the sort that does not feature any men [small](which is how I was familiar with Kimberly, Satine, Sasha and Justine from I Hit It With My Axe - Justine in particular pretty much only does girl/girl porn)[/small]. I'm pretty sure I'd be in a lot more trouble as my younger self if they caught me with what I watch routinely now, heh.

As my modern day iteration is currently 27 though, nobody really cares what I do on my own damn computer anyways.

If I ever caught my future children watching porn, I think it would be time for the talk. If I have already given them the talk I would just leave the room, pretending I never saw anything, it's only natural for boys and girls to do that kind of crap...
