Decide for yourself, OP. [http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/]

But, if at all possible, PC.

PS3, then get the PC version for free.

Then sell the game back for credit and get something else you want!

Neither. Ps3.
I don't own a PS3, please don't turn this into a console battle
Wasn't trying to. The game is coming out on 3 systems (4 is you count mac), and you only included 2 of them. I simply stated which console I was buying the game on. Didn't realize you didn't have one :p

Just buy it on what you whichever your friends are playing it on

ps3 and you will get the PC version for free.
I remember hearing about that. Is that still on?
If that's the case I'll get the ps3 version but I'll probably just play it on the pc anyway and lend out the ps3 copy.

Honestly, that's the only way I'll get the ps3 version. After hearing them complain for years about how hard it is to make games for the ps3, I'm still not convinced the ps3 version won't be a complete mess.

- Game pad (I'm not buying a wired one for the PC)
You could just buy a receiver for the PC and use your wireless one, it's what I do for flying helicopters in BF2.

Serious question though, why a gamepad for Portal 2? One of my defining thoughts about Portal was how utterly reliant on the relative speed of mouse control it was. The more shooty elements of the Orange Box were pretty well covered by a bit of auto aim and some fairly generous hitboxes, but I thought Portal was really damaged by using a controller, sticks just couldn't match the speed of turns and fine aim of a mouse.

pc without a doubt, ps3 if you can, that way you get the pc version too
your 220 should be fine to play it, and with the i7 you should be fine unless you have alot of **** bogging your system down
the gt230 is just under the recommended and well above the required hardware, might not be able to set it to 100% max, but should be able to play at full res and decent graphics

PC all the way. I would never think about getting something for the console when I could get it on the PC.
