Mildly surprised you went with GRAW over Rainbow Six Vegas, if only because of the control system and the greater feel, in R6V, of actually being able to aim 'at' your target, as opposed to 'somewhere in the immediate vicinity of'.

But I'd go with either of those as my preferred level of realism. Not faulting ARMA, or Flashpoint, but there are occasions when being a little bit unrealistic is more enjoyable than being as accurate as possible. Saying that though, ALL combat games need to fix grass for Snipers. It blocks the scope in ways it shouldn't (and in ways that simply moving or crushing it with your hand should rectify)

I like games in the arcadey to semi-realistic range. Occasionally I like something a little more realistic but not if it sacrifices the fun factor.

It depends!

If the game is fun and engrossing I don't care.

It could be near simulation levels like SWAT and OpFlashpoint, balanced you got to be careful but you ain't made of glass like STALKER and DoD, mildly punishing gung ho like CoD and CS:S or balls to the wall ammunition fests like Serious Sam and Halo.

If it's fun I just don't care, now gimme that sniper rifle damnit!

I liek realism in the sense that if I throw a rock, it should hit the ground because of gravity. So essentialy, it all has to make sense in universe. What is in that universe doesn't really matter to me, could be zombies, aliens, marines, I don't really care.

I want to be able to use One Bullet Clips [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OneBulletClips]. Otherwise, I don't care.

Arcade! definitely.

Though, with Halo sometimes... it kind of gets ridiculous when the guns look like Hasbro toys... buuuut I go along with it.

I still liked the original Battlefield 1942 that started the franchise. Nice mix of semi-realistic with the setting and arcade gameplay... complete with possibilities of tank races, jeep drive-bys, and suicide dive bombing while people parachute onto aircraft carriers after falling nearly a mile.... it was so much fun.

It really depends on my mood. I absolutely love Arma 2, but I also love team fortress 2, and sometimes I just want to fire up serious sam and let loose.

I want a game that has the COD health system (regenerating health, 3 bullets or so kill you) but with BF:BC guns (somewhat realistic, not guaranteed to go 100% straight).

Halo isn't arcadey, it's just colorful and doesn't have as many things to worry about as some games and usually doesn't take itself too seriously. Also you didn't say where ye olde 2.5 shooters fit in, I've been playing Doom and Doom II (again) for the last two weeks or so and having a blast.

A little greater than COD, but seriously, have realistic AA missiles. Every single time I pull out the stinger in COD, I think, "WOW, the designers must have missed RADAR guided missile in the description of this." because those flares block stingers.

I generally find that the level of realism I need is inversely proportional to the level of "blowing s*** up" I need.

I honestly do not mind too much as long as the game play is enjoyable, the weapons/classes/skills/whatever are balanced and it is not difficult for me to suspend my disbelief. I do tend to shy away from the ultra-realistic, or simulation games as I do not find them enjoyable. Partly because I am so crap at them!

I'd say I can play a range from ultra-arcade to pseudo-realistic. I still hail Unreal Tournament as one of my favourite games of all time, and with that said, I think I might go and play some.

TF2 realism, like Timesplitters sort of. I play alot of TF2 so I guess that.

Timesplitters was brilliant.
I loved Timesplitters like a child. (Yes, that was indeed strange) I really like Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, because of how difficult it was.

Arcadey for the win. Play one "realistic", you've played all "realistic". At least Mirror's Edge and Borderlands were unique.
