Gran Turismo 5 has 1000 cars, real time damage, 60 confirmed tracks, with at least 20 more to be confirmed, the whole of WRC in, as well as NASCAR (who doesn't like turning left), not to mention the usual inclusion of Le Mans and many other worls renown races. Most of the tracks, and all the cars are all ultra-real e.g. race drivers get thier own times on real tracks in their real cars in GT5. Plus, there may be the inclusion of the F1 Gran Prix as the Ferrari F1 car is in GT

rologue, which is a first.
Plus, GT5 now has car damage, the full interior to every car, and the added feature that with an EyeToy, in 1st person mode, the camera can move the camera in the car to how you move your head to help checking wing mirrors etc for the extra-realistic touch.
So yeah, I;d say GT5 offers much more than Forza 3. By a long shot.
1000 cars, which cannot be modified heavily. Forza features THE most customisation (of both visual and technical) in a racing game, and over 400 cars in the first place. Forza also has real time damage, as did Forza 2 and most other racers, nothing to brag about there. Over 100 tracks in Forza 3, including real life tracks, being "ultra-real" (which is a hilarious statement). As for the F1 junk, don't even bother claiming that until it's 100% confirmed.
Forza also had a full interior, unique to each car as they are directly modelled after the real thing.
The eyetoy inclusion is amusing-Fancy turning your head away from your screen in order to check a mirror in a game? Yeah, that makes sense.
What online systems/features will GT5 include? Versus racing, of varying types. Totally awesome. Forza includes video recording and sharing, (realistic) photography mode, photo sharing, online auction houses, design sharing/selling, and plenty of leaderboards, custom race rules etc.

1) Killzone 2 is exceptionally good, even if you look at if from a tech point of view. You haven't stated why it should not be bought, and all reviews would disagree with you. I'd like to see why you think it's so awful.
2)"GT5 should be a decent arcade-y racer" Do I have to state how wrong that statement is? GT, having played it since number 2, has NEVER been arcadey, as it's always been striving to be ultra-realistic. I have no idea what game you are expecting if you think it'll be in anyway arcade like, because GT5 will be in no way an arcade game.
3)Amazing how you claim God of War III overrated, when you have never played the game. As with your Killzone 2 comment, I'd love to know how you came to this conclusion.
Killzone 2 is BLAND. Just as with Crysis and even more prominently, FarCry 2, it's very pretty, but it has no depth, innovation or originality. Space Nazi Empire versus one-man army. Brown and grey. Linear. Typical FPS weaponry. Snore.
Granted, it's a technical achievement for a console game, but it's gameplay isn't anything to shout about. As for reviews, direct your attention to reviews of Halo 3, and other generic games of it's ilk.
Ultra-realism in GT? Despite it's on GT5 and it only just gained crash damage? Sure, the cars handle realistically, but so does every other proper racing sim. GT in it's latest games (including Prologue) feel like arcade games more than sims.
As for God of War III, I came to the conclusion after every Sony fanboy drooled over the E3 trailer which was...Well, God of War III. Hack and slash. I liked the other two God of War games (though 2 was a bit...Meh), but it's not like it's a groundbreaking, brilliant game anymore. It's just the same thing with a new lick of paint.
Keep your fanboyism to yourself next time.
