Maybe you should make up your own mind.

Each of the two systems has worthy exclusives, that's why I've got them both.

I may be a Playstation fanboy, but I'm not so stupid to deny myself good games just 'cause they're not on my console of preference.

I have all 3. PC, 360 and PS3. I'm not particularly a fanboy to any which one of them. But I'd say if you have the money spare and want to get a PS3, then go for it. There will be more exclusives over time, so that's something to think about also. Further to that, if you shop around or wait for games to go cheap, there are some affordable bargains to be had. That's what I do, not because I can't necessarily afford the games but because I'm tight. Hope my opinion helps.

On a side note. Not to pick fights or anything but I've played all of the Gran Turismo games and own most. I don't normally like racing games but that's the one and only that I will play. The Prologue for Gran Turismo 5 looks very impressive and if you're a fan of previous ones I'm sure you'll love it. Though it's a little short, I suppose that's expected of a prologue. Just an appetizer for a much more substantial game later on.

You have;
Little Big Planet, which is OK.
Metal Gear Solid, which is overrated.
and Flower.

I'd say no. But I have all three consoles, so I don't care. Wii has no good games (decided to keep to play older games on GC and 64), PS3 has literally only one or two, and 360 and PC have all the fun titles. But if you like convoluted RPGs and anime, PS3 might be for you.
Disgaea 3 anyone?
Thank you. Disgaea 3 was the reason I bought a PS3. The fact that it has other games that happen to be great is just icing.

Regarding the question at hand: why the hell are you asking us? Look on metacritic or something, see if the PS3 has enough games that interest you. That's the thing that matters. Asking other people is pointless.

I have had my Xbox 360 for awile now and im perfectly happy with it, but.....i keep seeing shinny PS3 exclusive titles that keep catching my eye but are the titles really worth it?
What kind of games and what exclusives catch your eye? I own a ps3, and have the privilage of playing a friends 360 [Elite] whenever I go to his place. (Cept his 360 just RRoD'd....)

Some of my exclusive titles I've played are Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, MGS4, Resistance, Folklore, and numerous DL-games. All are extreemly fun, and at this point in time, all of those titles can be found for an inexpensive price.

Of my experience, the 360 has had the advantage of being more user friendly for programers, and the earlier launch (a year ahead of the ps3) gave it alot of momentum. But really, the ps3 is a beast, and it's a solid system. If you're comfortable buying a new system, I can't see how you could go wrong with a PS3. You'll in fact have the best of both worlds! Exclusive for ps3 or 360, you can totally get it. :) Bonus points for you!

I'd never buy a 360 (gladly play one), only because of their fail rates and how poorly they're made. The ps3 has a percentage that's more on par with modern electronics. (I won't quote arbitary percentages, because I don't know them. I only know they're on par with the market.)

Oh! before I forget; my 360 friend wanted a tower defense game for his 360. None to be found on the market place. :) I doubt that will be a factor, but something to consider... I guess. xD

I'm surprised the PS3 seems to be so popular, if you go by ratio of price and how many good games there are for each and the PS3 is represented by 1 the 360 would get at least 12, I've never played Little Big Planet so I can't speak for that, but other than Resistance and Infamous I know of no good PS3 games.

It's too bad blockbuster doesn't let you rent consoles anymore like they used to... it would be quite worth it then.
One good game for the PS3...
Why is it that all 360 fanboys spew subjective crap like this? Look at metacritic - the PS3 has more higher rated exclusives than the 360 WHICH HAS 2 QUALITY EXCLUSIVES - Fable 2 and Gears of War 2. Halo 2 is going to be on PC with Windows 7.
If all you are going to do is flame, don't bother posting - there's no room here for fanboys.
Funny you mention fanboys, since evidently YOU ARE ONE. Honestly I don't really consider the PC to be a console, but I do play games on it, don't argue about it, I'm saying that offhand. BTW why did you say "One good game for the PS3..."? I said both Resistance and Infamous were good games, just not worth the price of the PS3.

I don't know what metacritic is and I don't particularly care. I have both the PS3 and 360 and have found TWO good ps3 games and at least 20 good 360 games, whether or not they are exlusive isn't really the point... but on that point, there are more than 2 good 360 only games, you might know this if you played the 360 more. Anyways I don't really feel like arguing right now so I'll just accept that you have a superpower to enter a different dimension in which there are more than 3-5 decent PS3 games.

Also, I wouldn't really say I was flaming the PS3, I was stating my honest opinion and experience and I firmly disagree with the statement "if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything" because 95+% of the world's population would likely be close to being mute.

LBP was absolutely the only reason why I own a PS3, other than perhaps Resistance 2.

1000 cars, which cannot be modified heavily. Forza features THE most customisation (of both visual and technical) in a racing game, and over 400 cars in the first place. Forza also has real time damage, as did Forza 2 and most other racers, nothing to brag about there. Over 100 tracks in Forza 3, including real life tracks, being "ultra-real" (which is a hilarious statement). As for the F1 junk, don't even bother claiming that until it's 100% confirmed.

Forza also had a full interior, unique to each car as they are directly modelled after the real thing.

The eyetoy inclusion is amusing-Fancy turning your head away from your screen in order to check a mirror in a game? Yeah, that makes sense.

....

Ultra-realism in GT? Despite it's on GT5 and it only just gained crash damage? Sure, the cars handle realistically, but so does every other proper racing sim. GT in it's latest games (including Prologue) feel like arcade games more than sims.

....

Keep your fanboyism to yourself next time.

GT 5 will hopefully be the start of a new breed of racing games that will combine multiple racers into on game, partially thanks to being on a format large enough to allow this. Thus GT 5 alone shows why PS3 exclusives are worth having a PS 3 for.

Now for why I used the above quote:

''GT in it's latest games (including Prologue) feel like arcade games more than sims.''

Either you have never played GT5, driven a real car, or your just a trolling fanboy. Prove me wrong by elaborating on how GT 5 feels like an arcade racer, rather then just stating it, and on why 'ultra real' is some a ridiculous statement. Trying to recreate real tracks designed by engineers to push a car to its limits, so as a result, the game would do the same to the play. How is that a hilariously bad idea?!

Ok, both system's exclusive games are great, and you really can't say one has a better group then the other.

The only way that is possible is if you own both of the systems. For every one else that only owns just one, like myself, well we really can't say much. We can call the particular exclusive games that we have amazing, but with out being able to see the other ones we can make no really comparison.

It all comes down to a simple question, do you have the coin to get another system? If yes then you are free to do so, because buying either 360 or PS3 is a good decision. I know that most people would disagree with me on that, but that is fine cause I don't care.

Now please stop making threads that threaten to turn into senseless flame wars please, other wise I have to him out:

but it's not like it's a groundbreaking, brilliant game anymore. It's just the same thing with a new lick of paint.
No offense, but isn't that exactly what Forza is? Not groundbreaking, or brilliant? Simply the same thing with a new lick of paint? At least Polyphony took the time to create a brand new engine for GT5...a much...much improved engine, over GT4.
Granted, Forza 3 itself isn't groundbreaking, though the online features are. More racers should allow that level of online interaction and options. Not to mention the customisation/tuning features.

Well I know everyone on the planet disagrees with me, especially 360 owners, but I think MGS4 is one of the best games ever made.

And GT5 will be epic, especially as most other racers just feel too 'arcadey'.
