N64 hands down, the range of games it had and the quality at the time was just mindblowing. I'd happily play Ocarina of Time, Banjo Kazooie, Super MArio 64, Mario Kart 63 etc. over and over again
you summed up what I was thinking, just couldn't put the words together. IF my son wants to frag his little heart out in FPS or come up with the perfect build for his RPG character I will support him. Even if its a type of gaming I either fail at or dislike, it's his gaming experiencelinkblade91 said:Rather than force upon the kid a system of my choosing (which would be a Playstation and/or PC), I'd wait until they were old enough to decide for themselves what kind of gamer they want to be. I would expose him/her to all the genres of gaming: FPS, RPG, action, strategy, puzzle, racing, etc. Then it's just a matter of what they like, and what system will satisfy those personal tastes.
That may seem like a cop-out to the poll, but it's not about what I want. It's what my child will enjoy the most
