Poll: scott pilgrim or piranha 3D?

Piranhas struck me as a Sy-Fy made for TV movie. Scott Pilgrim.

That's like asking whether you would enjoy a machine that dispenses Hi-5s or one that dispenses pain. Easily Scott Pilgrim, gore and an extra, unneccasary dimension does not necessarily mean you should spend money on a ticket. Still, I'm glad for the release of Piranha because now that the Avatar dust has settled and the resurgence of "Serious" 3D is still around bad films are slapping in a few custard pie fight scenes in 3D and boldly announcing it in the title thereby decreasing the reputation of 3D.

I saw Scott Pilgrim the other week and it was BRILLIANT! It was funny, well made, entertaining, nerdgasmy, extremely polished and clever.

I haven't seen either but I've been excited about Scott Pilgrim for so long now it isn't funny anymore. Piranah 3D on the other hand looks like a kinda funny shit film. The only real thing it's got going for it (from what I can see anyway) is Christopher Lloyd and some potential boob-age.

I have yet to see Scott Pilgrim, but Piranha is a call back to 80s horror: so horrible and stupid it's entertaining. I got a good laugh out of it.

But my vote goes to Scott Pilgrim because I have heard a lot of good things about it

Have you seen the ads for Piranha 3D? if you did you must have noticed that it's one of the dumbest horror films in awhile. Honestly it feels like it's an element of 80s horror shlock which it just might be. Scott pilgrim is an acquired taste. reviews aren't really faithful with being glowing or condemming. But if you look at a few you may see what that you might like it. You can always not go to the movies and wait till they show up on dvd redbox etc.

Hmm. I did not know that. Although it doesn't surprise me. Although that was more believeable in the 80s. Nowadays people have figured out piranhas are mostly scavengers not exactly the creatures in that movie. But then again they made a horror movie about slugs so it doesn't matter in the big picture.

Yeah its a "black comedy" black as in dark not african american. They also made a second piranha movie so theres prob gonna be a piranha 2 3D. Everythings a remake now a days pretty much but there going for obscure movies now so they can trick people into thinking its new

I'm not sure I agree with this poster THAT deeply, but I rather dislike the guy as well. Personally, I wouldn't see either of them, as they both look pretty bad in my opinion. But if I HAD to, I'd probably say Scot is the lesser of the two evils, as Piranha is just, oh man...

Terrible horror movies I can take, I've seen a whole bunch of them lately. Like some low budget irish zombie movie, though that movie was awesome for the scene where the heroine kills a zombie using her high heels, but still. Scott Pilgrim is... Ugh, I've read the comics, and from what I gather, the movie uses the same sort of writing, and that just gets me insanely off about it.

I agree, if you care at all about the comics industry and movie industry and don't want to see it full of badly written and drawn books and movies that aim at the hipster demographic that the success of Scott Pilgrim will bring about, see Piranah.

I really don't like the look of Scott Pilgrim. I didn't enjoy Kick Ass too much, horribly overrated, and Pilgrim seems like more of the same.
