The gayest thing to happen to gaming ever. It's just so fucking piss easy. It takes all the fun out of the game. Someone with marathon, lightweight, commando and a tack knife. It just ruins the game. One of the reasons I stopped playing. Teleporting speed freaks with knives that can reach you from across a room. You can shoot them when their about 12 feet away and they'll teleport into your fucking face and knife you.

Don't defend it saying it takes skill. Because I tried it. It's piss easy and take all of the freaking fun out of the game. That game is so broken it's not funny. The UMP needs nerfing too.

Or maybe you just suck so bad that you can't shoot someone with a ranged weapon even theough they only have one chance to attack you.

Yea that's about the lamest excuse I've ever heard. I already told you that when I tried speed knifing I cleaned up. It's a broken game aspect. That makes noobs like you think they're like super mega awesome because they can knife 7 people in as many seconds.

Players like them and I assume you, is why MW2 is noob central. And believe me... I'm not bad at the game.

Nope. I assumed that because you got so defensive over a broken game aspect that you were one of the noobs exploiting it. And my aim is more than quick enough. Or I should say was. I stopped playing it because I got so bored with it. There's no challange to it if someone isn't glitching, spawnkilling or noobtubing.

Well, this is just becoming absolutely pathetic. Both of you are reported for swapping insults in what should be the eleven-teenth time you've seen this topic. I thought, by now, we'd all not get so riled up over game-mechanics.

On-Topic - I occasionally play a speedy, mostly shotgun-based class with the assistance of Commando and Marathon. I do understand most these tactics are considered, by most, cheap. However, I play with two friends of mine who are now so used to my tactics I am always bottom on the board each time we play, or barely in second. People can adapt, if it annoys you that much then just 'level up' with some guy you know is a dedicated knifer.

You know you don't have to read it if you don't like it. Even better. You didn't have to reply if you'd already reported both of us. I almost want to report you for being a hypocrite but I'm not that petty.

I've no problem with you replying to this topic, as I am indeed doing the same. Unfortunately, directly insulting other user's based on their opinions is against the rules of the forum and is, quite frankly, childish. It wasn't necessary to start personal attacks on each other and while saying "I could have skipped over it", I'm reporting you both because I like the thought of having a courteous board full of people that can hack other people's opinions without throwing a tantrum.

He enjoys this, you enjoy that, agree to disagree and move on. Having an arguement about who sounds most immature due to their choice of profanity is the point you should probably wonder "do I really care?"

He insulted me saying I was evidently useless at the game, then eventually after a few heated words he throws the first actual insult. So I insult back. Not over opinion but because he insulted me. Childish... maybe. But totally justified. Especially seeing as how in his latest post he basically admits to simply Trolling for the entire discussion.

This is why you should read everything before making a snap judgement.

Just because he insulted you does not mean you should fire back with insults. I just don't see the point in getting mad at someone over the internet. I would use the ignore function instead of risking a suspension or ban.

On Topic: I don't care for speed knifing but I don't get to upset about it either. If someone is using a cheap tactic than all I have to do is find a way to counter that cheap tactic.

I'm a part of a common group, it sounds like...
I played MW2 online, got FURIOUS at the gd knife runners
So I tried it for myself, and I absolutely kicked ass! My best games came with the knifing . It was a blast.
Then I realized how fucked up a game is where I can annihilate players, trying to use legitimate tactics and weapon loadouts, while using only quiet shoes and a 6 inch blade.
I didn't really want to spend my limited gaming time playing a game where I either PWN or get PWNed through bogus teleportation Jedi kills.
So I quit playing MW2 online, for MANY reasons, bull the bullcrap with the knife runners was a big part of it.

I'm now playing Super-Mario All-Stars for my SNES and Arkham Asylum

I fail to see how. I never have any problems with 'speed knifers' in MW2 (when I very rarely play it). Then again, I invest in GOOD headphones so that I can actually hear footsteps and the direction they come from.

Besides that, if someone manages to get THAT close to you... they deserve the kill. And in ADDITION to that, most people don't realize this... you CAN shoot them while they're running at you Rambo-style. It's why I always carry a SPAS-12 shotgun as my secondary.

I play BC2 these days, much less frustrating.

Everyone keeps holding up BC2 as if it's the best game ever released. I returned it and still play MW2. Now, I enjoyed BC2, but it's much more squad oriented and the community is almost as bad. BC2 isn't fun with the random people on XBLive in your squad because for some stupid reason no one has a mic and no one wants to work together. This is fine in MW2 where teamwork isn't entirely necessary, but BC2 revolves around the idea of teamwork.

Just my two cents. I was the asshole who put C4 on your tank and helo and waited for you to pile in with your buddies, leave base and then I blew up both your support vehicles.

OT: The Witchblade abuses the games inability to function with respect to lag. I use a sprint class without Commando, so I'm kinda guilty, but I don't have an omnidirectional long-distance knife attack waiting a twitch away. Commando sucks because you can knife someone who has it when they're facing almost 90 degrees away and then you die from their knife and the killcam has them stabbing nothing.

Tac-knifers are dead easy to deal with once you know one's about, it's simple.

Danger close tubers are far more annoying as in many sitations there's simply no counter for it.

The problem is that the lunge exploits the game's lag. It moves too fast to counter.

Another reason it sucks is because you don't need to take the time to aim... the knife will home in on the victim with just a click of the stick from anywhere up to 5 or 6 metres away. You can't try and tell me that's not overpowered.

I didn't say BC2 is the best game ever released. I didn't even say it's a very good game. What I am saying, however, is that BC2 is a lot less annoying than MW2. BC2 doesn't have ultracheap stuff such as MW2's knife runners or noobtubers, nor does it have those ridiculous killstreak rewards which make everyone just camp their ass off for fear of getting killed and losing their AC-130.
I agree with you that the total lack of teamwork randoms usually display hurts a lot more in BC2 than in MW2 though. That always makes me sad in BC2.

The Commando lunge is ridiculous, but if you don't kill them while they're running up to get close enough to do it, than it's your fault. They're running straight at you in a game where 2-3 bullets from most guns will drop someone. You deserve to get knifed if they come from right in front of you and you don't put them out of their misery.

Speed knifers are a mild annoyance. You know what's slightly more annoying than people that use speed knifing? People that quick scope with the Intervention. You know what's slightly more annoying than that? Grenade launcher attachment, 2x Thumpers and Scavenger. You know what's more annoying than all three of the above combined? The fifteen millionth complaint thread about how broken Modern Warfare 2 is. If you dislike it that much, fine, just don't play the bloody thing. If you like the game too much to stop playing it over these issues, than that's fine too. Just stop cluttering up the place with all these frigging threads about how much you dislike something in a game that you're going to keep playing anyways.

If you don't like Marathon, Sleight of Hand Pro, Scavenger, One Man Army, Stopping Power, Lightweight, Cold Blooded, Commando, Killstreaks, Akimbo shotguns and G18s, Quick Scoping, Heartbeat Sensors or tactical knives, and you would much prefer to play without these things, than I've got one little bit of advice that may help you out:
YOU'RE PLAYING THE WRONG FUCKING GAME.
The perks, the quick scoping, the ridiculous lunging and killstreaks are all part of the game known as Modern Warfare 2. They're part of the experience, and if you don't like that, than go and play something else.

My thing is just fight fire with fire. It's plenty annoying when people exploit the game, but I'll just go right ahead and do the same.

Did you know that if your walking backwards they cant commando you, they teleport and swing the knife where you were standing so they miss you and you blow their head off. Just one of many many simple counters to that strategy. Another is play hardcore. That video is also kind of stupid because it only shows the range of commando when people are standing still, it doesnt show that you can put a shotgun in their face before they get to you. It also doesnt show what its actually like when you are playing the game online. Iv said it before and il say it again just because you suck at a game doesnt mean it isnt fair.

I'm pretty sure I've used every gun in that game to the point of learning them except the F2000, could you tell me what the hell that gun is for, its like an SMG but without the hip-fire accuracy.

The hip-fire accuracy is beautiful(especially with steady aim). Its speed makes it extremely useful in those tight areas.

The F2000 is a great short-to-medium range weapon. You can use it for long range, but you really have to burst fire. The gun really shines on a map like Sub Base, Skid row, Invasion, Terminal(those long corridors can hurt, though), Rust, or Karachi.

Attachment wise, the optic sights are useless. The gun has to much recoil to make them worth using(the default sight is open and obstruction free, giving you a great view of everything, even while aiming). Even when burst-firing you'll lose track of your target. Silencer and FMJ(together or separate) are great choices, but the gun really benefits from extended magazines. The speed makes you burn through ammo quickly and the extended mags can help remedy this problem Since the F2000 has a fairly long reload time, extended mags can buy you some extra firing time. Scavenger pro works wonders with this gun.

When aiming, you'd do best to aim for the groin and let the recoil do its work. Or, if you like headshots, aim center mass. I unlocked the fall camouflage fairly easily aiming at their chest and letting it float up.

Thanks, still what sets it apart from say the P90. Is it just bullet penetration because from memory they have much the same damage and the P90 shoots faster, is more accurate from the hip and comes with the that huge magazine.
