After completing the campaign I played online for exactly 28 minutes, I quit half way through the third or fourth match, I was so bored I sold it the next day.

I shed a tear when it finished, knowing that it's 99% likely to be the last in the series.
Ah well, tally ho, bring on Red Dead Redemption
It's coming out during my exams
me thinks I'll fail :')

I'm not. Eventually the amount of time I was enraged by something (cheating, glitching, use of annoying (but valid) tactics) began to outweight the amount of time I was enjoying myself.

I play it mainly because I don't have any other good FPS's on hand. I have Gears of war 2, but that doesn't really count. I'm thinking about picking up Battlefield, but I was never very good at it.

I'd love to play it more but our new router rejects Xbl for some irritating reason.

I still play, but I haven't as much because my MW2 binge is starting to wane and I've been way too busy with life lately.

Yay! Another MW2 Sucks, MW2 vs. BFBC2 Thread! /sarcasm

Seriously. People still talking about this? Haha xD
I play it every now and again but probably not as much as i used too. Got plenty of other games to play. Been getting back into TF2 a lot more lately.. and Dawn of War 2 xD

I quit a long time ago because it was just a bunch of the same stuff i had been through with MW1, and I just dont find the time to kill all those campers and listen to those screamy kids (This is not without exeptions though).
This is why I quit, I played it for about 2 months. CoD 4 is still awesome though.

Between Bad Company 2, Mass Effect (Finally got around to picking it up, and HOLY SHIT I should have done that sooner) and Splinter Cell Conviction, I've got plenty of games to keep me happy for the foreseeable future. Which is kind of sad, actually: CoD4 basically lived in my PS3 for months on end, only occasionally did I remove it for a little bit of variety--at least until i wanted more Modern Warfare, which usually didn't take that long. MW2, on the other hand, barely made it a month, and even that was largely because that's pretty much all that my friends play anymore.

Yes, but it isn't about playing MW2 as much as it's more about just hanging out and chilling.

I only get on when one of my friends call me up and then I get on to talk about life and such while killing people. It's very relaxing.

I only played split-screen, camping is ineffective when you can screen peek and see where they are trying to hide. Though I only had 1 guy try to camp (and he was the only one that complained about the fact I play with radar on so I can find find 1 of the 1-3 others in the maps designed for 16 blokes), and I owned him arse.
I then got a good enough killstreak (somehow, I am fairly crap at CoD) to get air support and it was insta-win. That was the last time I played MW2 and I am very glad I stopped.

Only game I play online multiplayer on is Demon's Souls, mostly because it doesn't have the cheapness of CoD (get the FAMAS and red dot sight, lock-on plus the 3-bullets anywhere above the waist equals death rule=insta-win) but it helps it is more or less single-player with some random level balanced PvP.

I play it because all my friends have it and it runs on all of our crappy computers.

It's great when you have ten of your friends in a ground war; you can just gang up on the others using teamspeak. =D
