Cause that would be the appropriate option for myself.![]()
Oh don't worry, he's hefty to say the least. He's so fat, he gets called skinny. For the irony alone.brodie21 said:300 pounds? really? he will have diabetes tomorrow!Rand-m said:he's a large, 300-poundish, 16 year old
edit:unless he is a particularly muscular and tall person, but 300 pounds is still streching it for a sixteen year old
While I agree SOME tattoos are unprofessional, saying they all are is crap. Both of mine are hidden by even the shortest of short sleeves specifically so they wont be a factor when I'm getting hired.Shintsu2 said:Nope, never would. There is nothing that should be permanently scribbled on my body by some dude with a needle. Tattoos are unprofessional and thankfully employers won't hire the weirdos who get all the tattoos. Leave the tattoos to the bikers and military I'd say...I have no clue why anyone would want that stupid looking stuff all over their body - it's not cool, and on girls it's disgusting and unattractive.
Tattoos period are unprofessional. No one wants to see them except the person who got them. I'm talking about people who have a reason to have tattoos. I don't approve of gangs either but they make sense. It's this BS average joe getting tribal tattoos or Japanese writing on their body. Unless your family came from a tribe or you're Japanese - don't get these stupid tattoos. Most people get them almost for what I'd say is novelty value. Like "Isn't this neat?".AccursedTheory said:While I agree SOME tattoos are unprofessional, saying they all are is crap. And I take offense to you grouping the military together with bikers, by which I'm guessing you mean old school Hell's Angels criminals. I'm glad snobbish attitudes like yours are not the base line now a days.
I don't know any tattoo artists that would do that for your first tattoo. A lot of them wouldn't do it unless they knew what career you had.CmRet said:No but i want Veritas and Aequitas the tattoos of the MacManus brothers and I want them on my hands.
I think that should have been more to your point. Tattoos aren't unprofessional. Stupid shit ones are. All my tattoos mean something to me. They either signify a close family member(s) or something that happened in my life. I know people look at me differently because of the tattoos, but looking the way I do in general it doesn't really change anything. If the tattoos mean as much to the person as mine do to me then fuck what other people think right?Shintsu2 said:It's just pointless, and something so permanent I'd think should have some great significance to be tattooed on someone - otherwise you shouldn't get a tattoo of it.
well, in a way, yes it was intentional..Mr Ink 5000 said:Was it an intentional blob?Emilie Diabolica said:i tattooed a heart and ribbon on my wrist when i was 17. i dont regret that (even though it has the initials of my now ex boyfriend on it).
however, i do regret a misshapen black blob i now have on my knuckle from that same time.... eh, i thought i was a good idea at the time?
A tattoo can stand for something in someone's life if, for example, they chose to get a tattoo in rememberence for a friend who died recently. Or a person who doesn't believe in marriage might like to show their permament love for their girlfriend (of many years I hope) or you may just wish to tattoo "John G killed my wife". To say that everyone has a stupid reason for their tattoo unless their in a gang is a little strong and just a little insulting.Shintsu2 said:Tattoos period are unprofessional. Call it whatever you like, but I have no quells with people like bikers and military, gang members, etc. having tattoos - it's a certain image that makes sense. They really stand for something in the person's life. Not some stupid Grim Reaper on someones arm because "Dude, that looks cool and makes people think I'm a tough guy" - what, are they supposed to be the friggin' Grim Reaper? It's just pointless, and something so permanent I'd think should have some great significance to be tattooed on someone - otherwise you shouldn't get a tattoo of it.
Rand-m said:So I found out today that my friend got a tattoo, and although I don't yet know what of, he's a large, 300-poundish, 16 year old "gangsta",
That is so fucking cool and I am so jealous.Wakizashi74 said:My family is very Scottish, so we have a Scottish family crest. My dad and my brother both have it as a tattoo, and I plan to get the same on my 18th birthday. (Currently 17. The countdown has begun.)
EDIT: Here is our family crest:

The writing translates to "Victory or Death".
It always cracks me up when people post things like this. I mean, seriously, how many girls care that much whether or not you find them fuckable?Shintsu2 said:I have no clue why anyone would want that stupid looking stuff all over their body - it's not cool, and on girls it's disgusting and unattractive.
