Poll: The Console War...Do you care?

Not at all. I don't give a crap what console is the most powerful or has the most silly bells and whistles, all that matters to me is if I'm having a fun time with said console or not.

Besides, fighting over what console is better is a futile and infantile argument that never proves anything about a console. It simply proves how blissfully incompetent the argue-ees are.

Well, I'm not really interested in the console war, but I hear Sony has inherently less problems than the Xbox, and while I'm an Xbox gamer, every console has it dues.

Multiple consoles are just there really for variety.

I don't care. You can have all the shiny specs you want but if I can't afford it and no games I want come out on it I'm not buying it. This is the reason I don't want a PS3. God of War III and Final Fantasy XIII are the only things I've seen that I want. Well FFXIII is coming out on the 360 as well as Dante's Inferno and Bioshock 2 for much cheaper and I could go back and play all the games I missed if I wanted to that are multiplatform like Assassin's Creed and exclusive, like Beautiful Katamari (I've had a sad life with no Katamari). I currently own a Wii and delight in the myriad of games I have besides Galaxy and Twilight Princess (I am including wiiware in that) and own a PS2 so no fangirl-ism here. And with the wii and 360 it doesn't matter if my TV at college is a cheap one. The PS3 looks like a wonderful system but all the tech and money required to fully enjoy it are out of my price range and just not evening out right now.

I prefer PC gaming mostly because I like mouse/keyboard controls and because most of my favorite games are PC exclusive(such as the total war series and Crysis).
I'm indifferent to the console war because people like what they like and I respect that. That applies to PC vs Mac fights that flare up all the time as well.

Why does the console matter as much as the game itself? We are all looking to have a good time, so if you wanna discuss gaming, discuss the topic with more depth... such as the plot of a particular game, awards you have recieved, achievements unlocked, stratigies you used, and storielines that grab your attention...not the console you play it on!!

I have little opinion on the matter. Consoles have individual and group pros and cons. There are exclusives and games which are better on one of them. That's how the industry is. I'm not going to fight with people and argue one is altogether, definitively better than the other as they're not trying to be the same (something about Sony ripping off the Wii goes here, I'm sure.)
PC gamers sure are elitist considering the large amount of problems that come with the benefits. But again, whatever. I can see where they're coming from.

I like every console, even the God forsaken console made from glorious bloom-lighting, the Wii. I used to play PC, but now I've moved to Xbox, I go to my friend's every weekend, and enjoy their PS3 and Wii.

I acually really hold the same opinion as you, 3 360's and Microsofts non-suppostive customer support made me switch to Sony.

However a Gaming PC would be amazing, however i dont own one.

Microsoft's customer support was fucking ridiculous. I waited a goddamn hour to talk to someone and they barely spoke english.

And I had to go through 9, yes [b/]NINE[/b] 360s and each of them died within a month.

Wow, that's unfortunate, I've had my current one (and last one) for about a year.

There's a difference between caring and curiosity as to what people are saying. The funny thing is I use my XBox as a media box to play content off my file server/netflix and my PS3 as a blu-ray player. I don't game much on either console. But I was thinking of picking up Bayonetta that looks fun and I did play the dante's inferno demo and that seemed interesting too.
