The Quarians, obviously. The Geth aren't people, they are machines. If they're willing to leave the Quarian homeworld and not make trouble, then that's fine. If they aren't... it's time to wipe them out.

I think they could easily manufacture some kind of peace. However if I had to choose, I'd go with the Quarians. I know the Geth are being treated like crap, and I know they're technically sentient, but when it comes right down to it, they're just robots.
I don't understand this. Why are the Geth not entitled to the same rights as other sapient species just because they are not organics? They're intelligent and benevolent, and I don't see how them being machines means it's okay to wipe them out. Yes, they are different from other sapient species, but every species are different. Huamns are not the same as Quarians, Asari, Turians, etc. Justifying genocide of an entire species because they aren't organic is stupid.

Tali, if I'd known about you many years ago, I'd have saved my virginity for you. Unfortunately, your people are in the wrong, so my sympathies lie with the Geth. I mean, sorry about your planet and all, but you did create a sentient race and then attempt to exterminate it. Besides, Legion is halfway as endearing as you are, which is still a lot.

Quarians for me. Mainly coz most of the Geth my Shep's encountered were dead set on giving him a postmortem anal probing.

I was playing ME2 again recently, and I was finding myself pretty torn on who I'd end up supporting if the game made you choose (or if ME3 makes you choose). How about you?

Particularly when the main bad guys of the series want to kill all organics because they are not machine. Yeah ME2 kinda ruins that motovation but it is still mostly true.

"Do you enkoy committing Genocide upon an entire species Shepard?"
"Depends on the Species...turian"
That sums up the entire argument really, would you support the genocide of the Geth because they became intelligent? To me, that would be like the Britsh supporting Japan in WWII because the colonies(America) revolted 2 centuries previous. I support the geth, they only do as much as it takes to secure the survival(at least to me)The Quarians want to bury what the consider a three-hundred year old mistake, rather than owning up to it, was it the Geth's fault that the Quarians tried to commit genocide?

Thats my view nyoro~!

Seriously? The best choice is BOTH. I'm a M.E. fiend so it's possible people don't know all this already buuuuuuuuut here I go.

The bad geth that everyone hates, are the heretics, were the ones that were manipulated by Sovereign into thinking the Reapers were the pinnacle of synthetic life. The geth that Legion represents are ones that haven't started trying to destroy organics.

If you're talking about when Geth pushed the Quarians past the Veil, I still find myself on a neutral stance. Both were just looking out for their species. The Quarians never intended them to develop such advanced AI's, and the geth never intended for it to happen to themselves either.

I love both Legion and Tali, and the whole discussion you have with Legion about the N7 armor implies that the geth are capable of irrational behavior, essentially developing what we could call a soul.

They're both okay in my book, and come ME3, I'll have both on my side.

There will be peace, and if not, then Commander Shepard stays out of the fight. But if he has too, Geth, because Geth can reproduce faster to help destroy the Reapers.

The Elcor. Love those guys.

Seriously though: I haven't actually played ME2 yet, so I can't say for sure.

You realize this cant be accurate, as a true poll would count over 1000 votes per Geth platform, as one per platform would result in an incorrect average of standard opinions generated by each platform and fail to generate the correct solution to your poll.

However, in favor of a quick resolution, this platform has reached a majority vote in favor of the Geth, though the majority made up just over a third of the votes generated. The choice with the least votes was that in favor of Quarian victory.

Down by only 2 votes on this platform was the group in favor of Urdnot Wrex being victorious. Currently running checks to see how that got in there...

I voted for the geth. Mostly because with a bit of work they could possibly be a great ally. Also I am not a big fan of Tali and the rest of the space vagrants.

As much as I want peace and support both sides, I have to go with the Quarians. Don't get me wrong, ME 2 changed my perspective on the Geth but the Quarians really got screwed, there. They created the Geth to be their slaves, yes, but as robots, not as sentient lifeforms. How would they know they would gain intelligence? Go Quarians!

Quarians.

Yeah, they've wronged the Geth, but hell, lots of people have wronged their PCs in the past. Plus, it's THEIR home world. Without it, they're kinda boned. The Geth could live on a fucking moon, the Quarians need their planet.

Besides, Tali is one of my favorite characters in the games.
