save nudity for films and the internet rather than pixelated tits flopping about everywhere making me too embarrassed to ever play it in front of my parents/siblings/friends/pets/myself

I know that videogames are trying to apply to a teenage audience by including nudity but I don't think that its necessary. Putting in more nudity for the sake of nudity is just being lewd. When I buy a game I expect a game, not naked chicks that entice some hormonal teenager to buy it. I don't think nudity or sex is at all necessary in a game. For story reasons it might be required but just just putting it in to have it is stupid. Unnecessarily adding nudity is a no go for me.
lol i dont think anyone actually read the opening post. He was on about characters like pacman and sonic etc. Not saying that we shud just fill games with porn.
But I'd like to say that people's inability to accept nudity is illogical anyway. We only think of clothes as normal cos were so used to them. I once heard a very good argument about this in a book called the dilbert future. He said something along the lines of:
If you were to join a tribe in the amazon where all of the woman are topless, all of the time (they are quite common), you would get an amusing tribal nickname like 'he who points the way forward' pretty quickly. But after a few months u wouldnt even notice. U might even start dreaming about women with thick jumpers on...
Obviously, society isn't suddenly gonna change cos of this argument but id like to make it anyway and say less stupidity!

Umm... How is there a lack of nudity in gaming? It's not like nudity is an important part in making good games (unless of course if you're making a porno game). Although I think that if at some point in a game nudity is appropriate it could be put in, but they can't put it in, can they, because being naked isn't normal (or so the "haters" would probably say... or at least think). That's the real issue, that game companies aren't allowed to put nudity in games, not that there isn't enough nudity in games.
