What is more odd, not believing that we landed on the moon or denying the Holocaust? Not from a moral perspective obviously, but like what would be more out of place in society.

Yes we landed on the damn moon. There was also controversy about the JFK assassination that was just as wrong.

The first astronauts to land on the moon died when ther hellmets failed to protect them from rapid decompression and their heads popped like grapes or cherries so the government faked the moon landing and paid off the families to say the actors were thoses dead astronauts so that the US could say we were the first on the moon until technology improved!!!

I'm gonna assume you're serious and point out that a faulty seal wouldn't kill you with explosive decompression, you'd just suffocate to death.
I'm going to have to agree with you too Monkeyman. Our bodies are held together by nuclear forces so the non-existence of forces like gravity can't make our bodies come apart. We would definitely just suffocate in the zero air enviro.

Definitely yes. We've already gotten vehicles to Mars, and we have probes that have already left our own solar system, so a simple thing like getting a few people to a place a "close" as the moon would be a snap

Because my hat is not constructed out of tinfoil in any way, I say we did. It's been proven like a jillion times.

Yes, we landed on the moon.
Don't you watch Mythbusters??!?!?!?!?!?!?!
They actually confirmed it.
The confirmation of a TV show made by a company that could be paid by the governments resources easily doesn't mean a lot. I think we landed there due to lack of adequate evidence that we didn't, not because some media outlet told me so.
but they used the scientific method and actually came up with facts and proof
I have not seen their evidence, but my conspiracy theorist friends can site for hours their "proof" of correctness. I do not believe them because their proof is inadequate. As I believe we landed on the moon, I accept that Mythbusters has evidence. However, if I thought that other evidence was good enough to call conspiracy, it is unlikely that evidence offered on a television show would sway me. Possible, but unlikely.

Of course we landed on the moon. Anyone who says we haven't is just a religious nutcase.
Umm... I'm sorry, I have to ask. What on freaking earth does the moon landing have to do with religion? :/
Some religious fundamentalists believe that it is impossible for a human to go past "the sky" (atmosphere), because that's where heaven is. Therefore, if it is impossible to go past the sky, it is impossible to reach the moon.

I love to ask these kinds of people how satellite TV, and cellphones work. They always give such delightfully moronic answers.
...

Wow. Okay then. I've never heard of a religion that ridiculous. Must be some small sects or something...

maybe you should see the mythbusters evidence before writing them off.
besides, if youre willing to listen to insane conspiracy theorist then why not a television program?
Out of general respect for said insane conspiracy theorists as close personal friends I generally allow them to talk. I'm sure that the evidence Mythbusters provides is compelling, but since I already agree with them and I don't have any compelling reason to see the episode unless it happens to come on when nothing else good is on, I probably won't end up seeing it.

when we go back for the uranium, you can have some cellphone videos of all the junk we left there as proof... You know, because the shit filmed on a shaky cell phone posted on youtube has far more credibility then nasa... for god sakes, landing on the moon isn't that hard. I mean, they have been to space thousands of times already. the television, gps, and missile guidance satellites are proof enough that space travel is easy if you got the cash?

Oh my god. I still don't get it why is this thing still on topic? It happened 40 years ago.

And why are people saying it didn't happen? Now there are thousands of sattelites and space stations orbiting the world, why is the moon landing so hard to belive compared everything else NASA has done past I don't know how many(60-40?) years? Hubble Space Telescope for instance.

Also buggers me what's up with the people vs government? Like there are secret organisatsions to cover up something irrelevant.

Every time I see a topic like "Was ___________ (something thats obviously real for normal people) faked?" I just *facepalm*.

Um... yes. I know governments can be tricky and all, but what they are not good at is keeping secrets that big. I think if we hadn't landed on the moon, we would know it.

Of course we've landed on the moon. In 1972.

I'm sitting here laughing at all the fools citing "Mythbusters" as if it were an honest, straight-forward program. Pleasssse. Mythbusters is an infomercial designed to sell you beliefs as a product. But don't believe me, no, you will believe what the Illuminati want you to believe.

We've landed on the moon, and spent the last 40 years up there doing little else other than setting up satellites and leaving trash behind. Where are the space colonies promised to me in sci-fi?
