If I found some one worthy of my death dealing attention, I would at least consider it but I would have to be pretty drunk I think...

Wow... this thread is really going to feed the anti-violent gaming lobbiests. Less GTA for you, more peggle.

No I would not.

Anyone who murders another human being must always be prepared for the Consequences, saying that a murder will have none seems blind to me. Even if society will accept him again, even if the law will not punish him, the taking of a human life will forever scar your memories or, if it exists, your soul.
This is the smartest thing that has been said on this forum. However the inherent flaw is that you are applying a empathy and guilt to everyone. I also disagree with the idea of scarring ones memories. Your emotional response is what you make it to be. There is never a reason to feel guilt, any decision you make is the best option you had at the time with the information on hand.

If it was only one person, without any penalty, yes, but I would make it relatively painless. I would probably kill a particularly annoying person that I happen to know, most likely with a bullet to the brainpain. Squish.

Could I take a life? possibly, if given the right scenario and it was necassary for somthing. Everyone gets the odd bloodlust fantasy/daydream. Ive often thought about "Going columbine" on my place of work. But its jus BS- doing it would mean a liftime of regret and mental torment, even if theres no legal punishment.

This is a government test. Everyone who says 'yes' gets shot by the men in black.

And anyone who says 'yes' deserves to get shot by the men in black as well.

With no punishment afterwards, I can tell you there are plenty of people I'd like to kill, so slowly, for giving me so much trouble over the past few years.

Teenage parents: mostly chavs who constantly break my windows and leeching tax payers money.
The electric/gas/water companies who continually rip us off every year.

I might if it was 100 bullets style, 100 rounds of untracable rounds on any gov't level no repremand and irrefutable proof of someones guilt of screwing you over seriously.

A completely random and innocent person? No. Don't have any reason to.

Someone whom I saw as deserving (and trust me, there's quite a few of those)? Wouldn't even blink.

True and i respect your opinion on the memories. Empathy and Guilt is an integral part of Humanity, Guilt and Empathy helped guide us in our early days as a species and they are still here now. While yes, some murders are done out of hate which means you won't have guilt about it (probably), most murders (i.e murder of a loved, an enemy) is done because, one way or another you had emotions for that person. Because you feel emotions, not just of anger but love and sadness as well, it follows that you will probably feel guilt afterwards. Of course i speak about the (generally) sane majority of our population. I know little about the psychological workings of the insane and disturbed. The last part of your sentence also says 'best option you had at the time'. True, you can hardly let the other person kill you and, logically you should not feel guilt about it. But since when has Humanity been THAT logical? A person can always feel guilt about a murder (my opinion anyway), and what if the person did not mean to kill him/her? Then the guilt is even more present.

Also, you forgot the Tea part.

P.S Friend? you seem like a logical guy here!
