Meh see No is too definitive id like to think i wouldnt but i know that under the right circumstances like if someone raped or killed my sister then yeah i probably would coz im really close to my sister, but outside of that i dont want to but i am a very vengeful person honestly.
This would seriously depend on my mood. I may even do it in cold blood to a random guy, maybe you. Or I may decide to donate money to charity. I go back and forth alot.
1. Genetic impulses that make it harder
2. Years of training by our society that would probably have extremely adverse psychological effects on me
but then I realised that you said 'no penalty', meaning that these psychological effects would not happen, so I probably would in that situation, if I had a reason to.
as i was reading down this thread, i honestly wasnt sure. there are people who, if killed, would make the world a better place, but could i do it in cold blood? my first thought was no, and then when i read DragonsAteMyMarbles' post, i realized that there is one person that i would kill if there was no penalty.
Four months ago probably not. Now though, I would. The person in question at one point was a family member but I have since disowned him. If I could save his life by giving him the gum off the bottom of my shoe I would walk past him, burn my shoes, and laugh the entire time.
Without penalty?
Only one person? D:
Yes, I probably would...
Need to make this world a better place...
Oh, and as to how I would do it...
however is necessary at the time. It doesn't matter how, really...
Probably only in self/family defense.
Possibly, at a stretch, for mercy.
"Without penalty" pretty much rules out everything else, as even if "they deserved it" you would have your conscience. In the event of self defense, those feelings would probably be balanced out.
one person? I'd do it so long as I didn't have to face him/her(ie look the person in the face) otherwise it would be much more difficult. As for how it would depend on who I chose.
Perhaps if it was an 'either him or me' situation... then i may. Or say, if i was in the position where i had the power to kill a potential murderer before he/she killed innocent people (think sniper with terrorist and hostages in his sights, for example). The chances of the first situation is unlikely, and pretty much 0 for the latter.
In any case, even if i did kill for whatever reason, it would haunt me forever.
