So,my room mates boyfriend slept over last night, and aside from the snoring, I don't have a problem with that.

But she left for finals early in the morning, and he's still asleep in our room. It's 3:41, and he's still sleeping.

I'm not good with this sort of thing...
One of my g/f's in college had a roommate whose boyfriend basically treated their room like it was his. He'd just walk in without knocking, even if his g/f wasn't there. He'd hang out there while his g/f was gone (and I mean for long periods of time, not just like she was gone for a few minutes), sleep over all the time, etc. It's a pretty rude way to act.

I give you two words: Rusty Spoon

Like others have said, try waking him up. See where that leads you...

Throw his ass out and say he's not welcome than your room mate isn't around.
I'm not exactly the "assertive" type. I don't want to be rude.

Let him sleep. I hate if a strange guy woke me up. No offense. Strange meaning I don't know you
No offense taken. I actually am quite strange, but am, in fact, female.
It sounds like you have problems asserting your rights as a roommate. If his presence is making you uncomfortable, and it's past the normal time to wake up, you can wake him up and tell him to leave politely with a clear conscience.

3:41 makes me worried about him though. That's over 12 hours of sleep, which is not normal by any stretch of the imagination.

Poke him with a stick. Hard. If he's not dead, you wake him up. If he's dead, you got to poke a dead body. A win-win situation!

I would just stare at him until he wakes up. Pull up a chair and wait. Maybe get an art pad out and sketch him. When he wakes up, just go, "Oh, hi." Act all nonchalant about it and if you're drawing, continue. If not, just get up and make yourself a sandwich or something.

Do you have Veet shaving cream? Put some on one of his eyebrows and then wipe it off,,, along with the eyebrow. Or draw a penis on his face. >D Or if you don't feel like being too mean, throw his clothes out the window and sick a post-it note on his forehead saying that your roommate is breaking up with him. :)
...
Wait, I think I got it backwards...

Go into the room and stare at him. When he wakes up continue to stare. Hopefully he'll get weirded out and leave.

Or, you know, just go play some games and offer him tea or something when he does wake up. He's probably just waiting for your room mate to get back anyway...

Lets see.....

Baseball bat to the shins.
Crowbar to the elbow.
Boiling water to the junk.

Those are all great ways to wake someone up. I wouldent suggest them..... but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Or you could just let him sleep. Its weird and everything, but you can wait until your roomie gets home and talk to her about it. Let her know that you dont enjoy half naked men passed out in your room.

Is this in a dorm or apartment? They both have different situations and require different action.
It's a studio apartment. It has a kitchen and living area, they're just in the same room as the beds.
Aren't there zoning laws against that o_O

Anyway, I would only wake him up if I had to leave. I am fine with a strange person being in the room with me.

let's see it's a bit after 5 now so if he is not up yet make sure he is okay, then just treat him like you would any other time no reason to make this more awkward. once your roommate returns tell her about it and how you feel.

wait a minute, I just thought of this, did they have sex with you in the room like that? cause THAT would be awkward.

The toilets need to be in a separate room, the rest of it is just the same as having an open-plan house. Albeit a teeny-tiny one.

I wonder how this one went....

I guess by time of posting the event and socially awkward situation has finished.
