I thinks it's a bit stereotypical to believe that Aliens are hell-bent on Humanities destruction. The chances are that they're in another Galaxy Billions of miles away and are just like us...I mean, Earth is one lucky planet, considering we have a giant fat boy (jupiter) protecting us from earth-bound projectiles, and we are in the green belt which is perfect for sustaining life. On that basis...I'll say that I'd be a spy for them.
Enlist?HA!I'd go down fighting alright,if I knew hiding was futile,but I would not enlist.If going down fighting,I'd prefer to have a small elite group of combatants trained in everything.Fighter pilots,hand to hand,martial arts,gunners,frontliners (People who fight at the frontline,with the guns that people know and love,such as m16s and m4s[although these guns usually aren't as good as the gpmg and suchlike]) all that,and I would be their leader.Oh,they'd be trained in driving and stuff too.But I would never enlist.Small elite squads are better,and can have hilarious combat inside jokes to boot.

I clicked spy for aliens, but actually, I would be fighting in the underground resistance.
A nonretarded alien invasion would cripple all forms of organized resistance before we even knew they were coming.
If the aliens were able to travel here, with the intent of invasion, and NOT do that, those be some frakkin idiotic aliens.
If the intention is to harvest human kidneys to send to the alien homeworld as some sort of exotic treat, we're hosed. If the intention is just to force us to become a slave world for their hegemonic empire, well, we'll see what happens.
