Fuck it, I'd go frontline combat. I get an excuse to kill people and if I die, my curiosity will be satisfied.
If your friends bring you suffering then make them suffer.MaxTheReaper said:As I've said - my family is my family.asiepshtain said:Where do your friends live, or your family? Is retreat an option? what happens to them if you lose?
No-one asks you to die for a 'country', or to die at all, dying while an option is rarely a guarantee. You fight for your loved ones, to protect them.
But I don't love them. I can live without them.
I love some of my friends, but they bring me nothing but suffering in return, as a general rule.
The only person I can't live without is me.
But it would be... fun and enjoyable.MaxTheReaper said:I can't.Jester Lord said:If your friends bring you suffering then make them suffer.
It's impolite.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhkay. I don't know anything about you but, dude, you need someone to talk to.MaxTheReaper said:As I've said - my family is my family.asiepshtain said:Where do your friends live, or your family? Is retreat an option? what happens to them if you lose?

If the UK entered a state of war where military conscription became compulsory, i am sure that being a civilian wouldnt probably be what is was cracked up to be. Military conscription would be called on in the case that invasion or defeat is likely, in which case you would not be safe at home because the enemy, im sure, would be bombing the cities and factories every night if possible...SakSak said:You train and serve for 18 months in civilian institutions, factories and other non-combat places. Lasts longest, but if the crisis begins you will not be sent anywhere near the battlelines or military targets. You will stay somewhere relatively safe, never touching a weapon (unless you specifically request weapons training) and helping your country.
Fair enough - I wasn't blaming the guns themselves, just whoever was responsible for the design flaws.LimaBravo said:To be fair thats cause the Royal Armouries are money grabbing bar stewards, not the guns fault. Although the SLR was a superior weapon and should never have been replaced.Doug said:Guns that don't jam in a desert? Ha-ha, yeah, THATS going to happen. /wall o text
hell ya, that's why I voted frontline. I wouldn't want to be an officer or anything, cause I'd suck, but maybe a corporal.asiepshtain said:Whatever they think I could do the most good in, its what I did when I was drafted for real.
It disappoints me to see such a low level of courage here sometimes, either you fight or someone else has to fight for you. We all die eventually, better to live a shorter life of meaning then twenty more years as a coward which serves nothing but himself.
He doesn't need people to talk to, he has the internet. Who needs friends and family?asiepshtain said:ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhkay.
