My bass guitar is my baby but if the zombie apocalypse turned up id use either that, the kitchen knifes near me or this weird looking machete thing that's used to cut firewood :D

if i lost my NINJA SWORD, i would basically use a kitchen knife, because shit, thats easy enough to find, and because im a timid, stealthy little weasal, i would sneak up on zombies when they're not in massive droves, and go for the brain.

I would probably use a bow, its quiet, and you can get about 15 feet from the zombie, and at that point, you really can't miss, but you aren't close enough to be grabbed like with a hand weapon, then you could just retrieve the arrow.

I'd use the sub par bow I had until I could loot something better.

I'd also bring a crowbar, more for practicality of it's prying power than a weapon, but in a pinch, I could stab a zombie in the eye-area with the non-hooked end of it (which I would sharpen to the best of my ability)
Non weapon i think i would count a bow as a weapon.

anyway for me it would be my cooking! nothing harder and more deadly than that

I have it for recreation, not hunting or combat, so I count it

Personally I would either go Shaun of the Dead style cricket bat (with tie tied round my head of course) or a baseball bat should so I can make the TF2 scouts "wanananananana" sound

I am literally surrounded by real weapons, so a non weapon is really a non-issue. I regard almost everything as a weapon, so I would use a non weapon whenever I am without a real one.

My dad used to play Cricket and still has his Cricket bat in the garage. As well as a couple baseball bats, both metal. I have a very secure home.

For my it would be the large monkey wrench in my garage, possibly one of the meat cleavers we have in the house for cooking, a frying pan (cause nothing says victory like the clang of a metal pan), or a clothes iron after it has been heated.

My lacrosse stick(s). I have one 5 1/2 foot, and 2 short sticks. All could be alright bludgeoning, but the long one could be used to push zombies back. But I could attach knives to the end pretty quickly, so they would become spears. Anywhosal, I have a crowbar in my BOB, and large knives in a pinch. I'd be alright.

so if i hung a gun on the wall i could count it as a non weapon? maybe a sword or a battleaxe as well......

kk lets try this again. a bow no matter where it is or its intended use has always been used as a weapon so it must still count as a weapon. got it

Who cares, I think the purpose of this thread is more to say "what stuff around your house would you use" and even if it isn't, I'm not going to overlook my bow if a zombie apocalypse occurs.

I'd go for the crowbar because not only is it a nasty melee weapon all by it's little lonesome, it can also be used to pry open doors and can also help you lift stuff up.
