You seem rather defensive about your sexuality... nobody's really going to judge you much here, infact, I do belive a good chunk of our community is bisexual, or at least, that's what I saw on the last thread about sexuality.

Anywho, Male, Straight.

Also, welcome to the escapist!
This. Today is modern times, very few places still care about sexuality and I don't understand the groups of people who want to make up problems.

Anyway, I'm straight. Comfortable enough to say, "That girl is so pretty."
There is quite a few teenagers on here and bisexuality seems to be a hot trend within them at the moment, so I expect a lot of bisexuals.

...It's sad too, cause the only chicks that have taken any interest in me are Lesbians and Bisexuals. The former being unobtainable and the latter being sluts.
I really hope that was sarcasm. I'm a bi-female and I can assure you I'm not a slut. I just think it's stupid to decide you can't date or fall in love with someone due to their plumbing. I've been equally attracted to both sexes since I first started having crushes.
I think a lot of people would call me pan-sexual or omni because I have no issue dating a transgendered person either but I personally think it gets a little confusing when you keep making new subgroups for sexuality... So I simplify it buy calling myself bi. I've dated 2 guys and 2 girls, one of the guys for 4 years and one of the girls for 7 and I've never cheated on a soul. So yeah, the slut comment, if serious, I find rather offensive.

And though I've never hit on a mormon (my mormon friends were always too open minded for it to be entertaining), I have hit on quite a few born-agains just for kicks... and that's always awesome good fun.
Or maybe some people are just wired to be attracted to one sex?
Oh, I didn't mean to say people couldn't be straight. I get that people are straight and have no sexual attraction at all to their own sex. I guess I was just trying to describe what it's like for me. For me there is no difference between the sexes. They're just people. But I'm very aware that it's not like that for everyone and that's fine by me. Sorry if it came out like I was hating on straight people.

Male, asexual.

I can almost see how people can find others attractive, but I can't see it myself. The idea of sex actually turns my stomach at times.

I am a gay female.

I'm aware there's a limit to the number of options, but Pansexual would have been a good addition. This gal I have a thing with, and she considers herself pansexual.

Also this topic keeps cropping up. I know it's near/past Pride (depending on where you live), but the question and subsequent poll keeps showing up. The result every time? The escapists magazine is a sexually diverse place.

I've heard several times from biologists that bisexuality does not exist. You have to be either. Bisexuality is either insecure heterosexuality or insecure homosexuality.
I say, that sounds fairly interesting. Have the source?
The only specific article I can remember was in a foreign-language newspaper, and the other articles and reports I can not recall. I am very sorry, I can only present you the hypothesis, and as far as I know, it is only a hypothesis.

EDIT: Here is an English language article:

Damn, I almost feel disappointed that they never came to a conclusion.

Oh well, thanks anyways.

Erm... there's been a handful of posts claiming that their sexual preference is boring or unoriginal... I get that being heterosexual is the majority for men and women, but that doesn't affect things like originality.

Bisexual female.

So far I'm one of the 5 Gay men in the polls. Hay wait Wasn't there a poll just like this one a few weaks ago? Anyway I love how many posts I read are like "Im a straight male....P.S. Im okay with gay people" I laugh so hard because apparently if your a Heterosexual male you are automatically a bigot, gay hater. Oh the Interwebz.
You usually get labelled that IRL, so it doesn't hurt to clarify.

On topic, straight male. Woop-de-damn-doo.

Also, great way to test the waters, Packed Snack.. Scared that the Escapist might snip at your sexual preference?

I'm a bisexual male. Although I am surprised you missed out female-questioning, asexual and pansexual (although you could argue it's simply a sub-category of bisexual). Oh well, you did put a lot of options down.
