some random Ubuntu and (sadly "of course") Windows XP Professional 32bit. it sucks, but still less than Vista or 7/64 bit.
Im also too lazy to just emulate every damn game in Linux. Its easier with windows....most of the time. ok, sometimes. ok, eh......>__>

Windows 7 Professional x64.

Windows 7 because it's the best OS ever, x64 because I can (why would I want to use 32-bit?), and Professional because that's the only edition I can get for free from MSDNAA.

Windows XP... because I was working at a Microsoft Call Center at vista's launch, and heard all the problems it had. And it's support sucks.

Just sayin :p

I use Windows 7 because it's what came on my netbook and it works wonderfully. I have discs for installing ubuntu, fedora and windows vista. If I get another computer (whether it's a laptop, netbook or desktop) I'll put on a linux OS.

Windows 7 64 bit. Runs all my games, all my adobe programs, and I love rainmeter.

I also use OSX for Logic/Mainstage though.

Same here, laptop came with it. I'm also pretty happy with it I've never had any really big issues with it.

Windows 7 Ultimate. I really like it, even though I have encountered some major bugs. I believe these are do to me pushing my system to it's limits a lot though for music production. I need to upgrade some hardware as well (Ram, power supply, and cooling system).

XP.
Call me Old Skool, but I find that my games run better on it. It takes less processing power to run XP than Vista or Windows 7. If I could find a way to get my system to run better with Propulsion Gel,however,I may consider an OS upgrade.

XP. Unlike Vista or the Mac operating systems, it just works.
Macfag here, asking "wait... what?"

OT: I use Mac OSX, mainly because my dad would never get me a PC. I guess I could always bootcamp it if I wanted to use a Windows OS.

Windows 7 Professional because it's simple but when you want it to be it's advanced. It's fast, well supported, looks nice, and everything just works.

I have used Linux, but I choose not to as I feel in the last 10 years it's lost it's Linux lightness. It feels bloated these days and it defeats the point. As for OSX, well I've used that too but it just feels like it's missing something, but I can't quite lay my finger on what. Too much eye candy and not enough productivity.

Mac OS X - Snow Leopard :D
Considering it's the ONLY computer/laptop I use, I like it a lot!
Bad thing is, Boot Camp won't work, meaning I can't get my damn XP on there, so I can't play all the good games ;_;
So now I need to find a program calles Parallels so I can get it oon there, and clear off about 60GB of my brother's photos O.O

Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, it's what I installed on my PC when I built it and it's been great despite people bashing it for no real reason. Better than XP, let's me use 6GB of ram.

Why haven't I upgraded to 7? Mostly because of the hassle of reinstalling all my programs, games and backing up data.

Isn't Vista garbage? I've never had a problem with it, so why is it garbage? From what I read, users not knowing enough about it.

Will I defend it if you quote me saying Vista is garbage? Pfft no, use what you want, I don't care what you use Vista works for me, that's what counts. If it didn't work out for you, sorry to hear that.

For years and years it was XP. Oh, it completely crashed and burned 3 or 4 times forcing me to reinstall the whole deal again, but it was okay. It was my friend, my companion. Then it died, one last time, and I abandoned my old friend, who had betrayed me one time too many.

I decided to try the new 64 bit Windows 7. How pretty it looked, access to DX10 and DX11, and while some of my software was upset by the 64-bit switch, Windows 7 whispered "compatibility mode" and my software settled.

But the unruly hardware, it would not cooperate with the new OS. It saw the sparkles. It saw the extended bit depth. And it stopped. It demanded chauffeurs to drive it to work, but lo, there were no drivers available. Companies responsible for the hardware's well-being had never released drivers willing to work with the new operating system environment. I had thought that only software could become abandonware, but my ancient hardware boards were left behind, their extinction a testament to the cruelty of the world.

And so it was that despite all the lovely additions of 7, I find myself longing for the comfort of the traitor, my friend, XP.
