I'd like to see a Steampunk RPG...just to switch it up a bit.
The last steampunk RPG I played was Arcanum, and, quite frankly, at the time I didn't enjoy it at all. I haven't played it in many many years, so I might enjoy it now...but I do remember thinking 'I don't like this'.

EDIT:

Quit, and never come back.
What they have done to Xbox is horrible and it shall not be repeated.
To hell with mainstream gaming.
Yeah! Because, really, selling tons of consoles, boosting sales, and making a system popular is totally stupid.
And mainstream games are so bad, right? I mean, if they were good, they'd sell WAY less copies. A game is only good if it doesn't sell well. If it get's too much press, or gets really good scores and sells a lot, then it must suck, and anyone who plays it is a fan boy who is retarded.

I'm with you man! Mainstream is so conformist! I only play the unheard of games that don't sell well and get poor to sub-par reviews while listening to some eastern European metal band singing in some language I don't understand because other people don't listen to them. If I listened to something mainstream, I'd be like other people, and that can't happen.

Fight the power! Society is for sheep!

I don't care what they do , because I have no in interest in Halo ,but I will encourage them to break away from Halo before they become a one trick pony.

I'm afraid I must agree with the secret "Die in a hole" option - then, SquareEnix should split into Squaresoft and Enix again but we all know that will never happen so let's see... Ah, yes. Bungee should follow everyone else and get bought out by Ubisoft.

Your mother.

Sorry I couldn't resist it, but seriously I think they should make something entirely new.

Make a sequel to Myth and Myth II.
That'd be nice, but the Myth IP belongs to TakeTwo now; that's out of Bungie's hands.

The rumblings are that there's a new IP coming, but precisely what is still under the Cone of Silence. I'll be waiting patiently (sorta) for the announcement.

WHAT??

Ahh Get Smart...I knew that joke before the new movie.
Awesome.

On topic, That sucks! I've heard the first Myth games were good. Never actually played, though I probably should have.

They're probably gonna keep pumpin' out FPS's.

(Sigh)
How dare they do what they're good at!

Sarcasm aside Bungie has a good history with shooters. Pathways into Darkness allowed them to form a proper company (instead of just a couple friends making games in a garage), Marathon made them a major name among Apple gamers, and Halo has made them into a truly significant developer.

It bears mentioning that their last franchise prior to Halo was Myth, an RTS.

And as for the poll, I think they should do all three. Now that they have the resources they may even be doing just that right now.

That's discounting the one-off Oni, a third-person fighter-shooter made concurrantly with the tail-end of Myth 2 and the very early days of Halo. It was set in a futuristic world along the lines of Ghost in the Shell and was done in an animé art style. I haven't played it myself, but I have read the story line and saw some reviews from the day and I really am considering sniffing around to see if I can get a copy.

They should go out with a bang!
Hookers, cocaine, Lavish hotels inwich to take the hookers and cocaine.
And paying for all this with a never ending stream of casual puzzle games with halo slapped on for good measure.

I would love to see a steampunk RPG. the games industry has some time for cyberpunk, but absolutely none for cyberpunk. despite alot of anime and manga being based around steampunk, and alot of games developers being based in Japan, you'd have thought someone would have picked up the idea and at least tried making a game in it's style.
