Poll: What was your First Pokemon?

but since I was young and I didnt know how to level farm or fight properly,I continued to lose against brock.
I eventually gave in to my brothers advice because he said squirtle was strong against brock.
and now I shall always pick fire type, to make up for the charmander who I didnt give a chance (plus, mudkips suck against what the meme says)

I chose bulbasaur since he's the only starting pokemon in blue that didn't look like a complete wuss.

Mine was Cyndaquil. I played Silver first.
I don't even remember why or how I got into Pokemon, it was the card game I think.

although my first was a cyndiquil i'd have to say that torchic was my favorite starter after i lost my lv 100 typhlosion (cyndiquil evlolved and had children)because when my torchic fully evoled it was awesome. there is just somthing epically satisfying as having a pokemon named "BLAZING CHICKEN" that does Chuck Norris flaming style kicks!

Its not that the only true fans are the first and second gen fans, its that those are the only generations that happened and anyone who claims pokemon continued after them is a liar.

Anyway, the first of the adorable little fellas that I used was Charmander. I was young. He breathed fire.

I had a squirtle. Mostly because I happened to pop blue in before red (I was one of the people that got both) and I decided I would just use the starter on the cartridge.

I feel bad because I started in 2nd Gen. I was 6 when I got it so you can't blame me, and it had even already been out for a little while I think.

So yeah, Silver was my first one and I started with Cyndaquil! (or was it Totodile? Who knows, I was 6, its been 10 years >_>)

I picked Yellow before the other games because not only would I get Pikachu but also Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle.

My friends that bought Red/Blue/Green hated me.

This thread reminded me that I got Pokemon yellow on my cellphone.

Pikachu. The first Pokemon game that I played was Pokemon Yellow Version, so I didn't get much of a choice in the matter.
