I would endure the transformation out of sheer curiosity (I've got nothing better to do during the Apocalypse)... once I realize of the new "life" possibilities of being an undead and that all the so-called "common knowledge" about zombies turns out to be a bunch of bollocks, I would join the Zombie Revolution lead by that black zombie gas station guy in George Romero's "Land of the Dead" and make humanity aknowledge our existance!

So is the setting is a zombie apocalypse? If it is then I would fight as much as I do and ask the person around me to kill me when I start turning into one. If they got no weapons to kill me then at least they should ducktape my mouth, wearing mitten glove and tie me up.

If this is just a random zombie who bite me then I will use the remaining time to wrtie my will and when my time has run out the soluction will be same as above (kill me or they can't for whatever reason ducktape me to make me less lethal.
