How come Force Unleashed wasn't an option? That was brilliant but, (opinion) just beaten anyway by battlefront. I seriously can't get enough of those games. I still play them both!
KOTOR but before that SWG pre nge :T... KOTOR was so good it made people who didnt really like star wars love star wars (my sister is prrof of this lol)
the lack of X-wing vs. Tie Fighter in the poll offends me greatly. But you know what offends me even more? the lack of the SUPER STARWARS game on the SNES and the even older NES Starwars games.
Shadows of the Empire was awesome. In one mission you could be flying around in a jet pack hunting Boba Fett, in another you're flying in your space ship, then another has you on a swoop bike. That game was all sorts of fun.
For me, it's Battlefront II. It lets you experience what combat in the Star Wars universe is like from both angles. On one hand, you're one guy in a large-scale conflict. You can do some heavy damage on your own, if you work hard, but for the most part, it's a team effort. Then, on the other hand, you're a Jedi Knight, a Sith or a Bounty Hunter. You're a God among lesser men, you can cut through other players like a hot knife through butter, there's nothing you can't do.

The best game (that I played) would have to be Republic Commando. Battlefront was basically Battlefield with a Star Wars reskinning. I didn't play KOTOR for longer than an hour, so I can't formulate an opinion on it. Republic Commando had a cool story, non-sucky AI, and was difficult but be a challenge but remain fun.
Battlefront was a completely new concept that hadn't been done before and it was pretty epic at the time.
Rogue Squadron, with honorable mention to X-Wing and TIE Fighter for laying the groundwork.
How do you figure? It's Battlefield 1942 with Star Wars skins, weapons and worlds (in fact scuttlebutt has it that it was inspired by a mod for BF1942 that did exactly that). Not that I don't think its fun, but I wouldn't call it a new concept, just one that Star Wars hadn't done before then.Phoenixlight said:
