While I'm not going to make out my own Top Ten (because that would end up filled with a lot of games I barely remember, because I don't dip my toe in the licensed gaming thing too often), I will make a list of the games that I thought were extremely notable of their generation.
1) Empire Strikes Back (2600) -- not only a good Star Wars game of its era, but one of the most notable 2600 games of all time. Incredibly shallow gameplay these days (shoot down as many AT-ATs as possible before they reach the end of the level), but a great game from my youth.
2) Star Wars (arcade) -- original vector graphic arcade game from the 80s. Three section space combat game. First in space around the Death Star. Second across the surface of the Death Star. Lastly, down the trench of the Death Star. That baby got a lot of my quarters growing up.
3) Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight -- I know Jedi Outcast gets all this love, but I never really took that big of a shine to it (mostly because Raven Software has a tendency to put in cheap crap like snipers, escort missions, and stealth missions). While the earlier Dark Forces is good, but the pre-mouselook controls make the game too frustrating to replay. DF2 has all the Jedi action the sequel had, plus truly epic levels, a better story, and was only brought low by some really, really ugly graphics. Like there's actually a reason why Kyle doesn't have Jedi powers at the start of the game, because he's not a Jedi yet. In the sequel, he's no longer a Jedi for no decent reason anyone can think of, apart from the game devs wanting to start you off with standard Star Wars weapons.
4) Lego Star Wars I & II -- any game that can make the prequel movies fun gets my vote of confidence. The reworked vehicle levels in The Complete Saga are better than the original prequel vehicle levels, but that doesn't mar one of the most fun Star Wars experiences in video game form.
And that's pretty much my list of notable Star Wars games. Tons of games I never played (like anything on pre PS3/360 console) and lots of games I played on briefly (TIE Fighter and Battlefront), but the four games I thought met and exceeded the standards of other video games of its time.
