For me it's between BlazBlue, King of Fighters, Super Street Fighter 4 and MvC3. Leaned most towards MvC3 and SSF4 because of their balance, which is superb, especially in the case of Super Street Fighter 4. I'm a tournament player (in sweden, tiny tournament scene

) and personally what I value most is balance and mechanics.
I enjoy Marvel because it's fast and frenetic, with complex mixups and setups that require you to think fast, really fast.
I enjoy SSF4 because it's so deep. It's basically chess in fighting game form. I enjoy putting my mind against anothers, try to outthink and outmanouver them. SSF4 is fairly simple. It's not that fast paced, it gives you time to think and sure, there's a aspect of execution in there but it's not as complicated as many other fighting games out there, like blazblue for instance.
So yeah, it's accessible, it's moderately paced, it's extremely balanced and the execution threshold isn't too high and instead all the focus is on your mind versus the opponent's. You're not fighting with the game, the game is merely the tool you use to mentally fight with your opponent, very fun for me
