They're ok but i´m more of a vampire man myself.

Twilight will not change my mind about vampires being the most badass thing ever.In my opinion of course.
But would you become one?

These blood packs won't last for-- Oh,forget I said that.
I would become a vampire in a heart beat.Stalking in the night.Drinking blood.Whats not to like?

4- Fear of zombies spawns good movies and video games.
But there's the problem: Zombies aren't scary. At all.

I laughed through Diary of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead and every other zombie movie I've ever seen.
That's just you not being able to be immersed in those movies.

The idea behind zombies are much more frightening than the actual zombies themselves actually. Imagine, human beings that live only to kill you, and each person they pass by dies and joins them. A human like creature that never sleeps, and can't be distracted or negotiated with, and every moment that passes means more and more are coming for you.

Also there is the paranoia, oh the paranoia. Any monster can kill someone traveling with you, and you'd have to move on. But when a zombie scratches someone you're with but leaves them alive, you immediately contemplate murdering them to keep yourself safe. Pretty scary stuff in my opinion

The only Zombies I like are Half Life 2 Headcrab ones because they resemble old bald bankers with dementia

I find myself getting images of playing chain-tag in school as a child.
Only now I see all the children as zombies.

Thanks for that.

There's no way to get my point across without mentioning them.

One extra zombie thread for the greater good is a fair trade.

The reason people like Zombies is (and I am partially quoting our favorite movie reviewer) that they look like that annoying person from the supermarket or that coworker you would love to punch and guess what, because they have some blood on them and are "mindless," You Can! And it's even better, you can level a shotgun to their head and not feel bad about it! It's because we hate people that we love to watch them die and the mindless undead aren't seen as deserving sympathy in the least unlike (the majority of) German WWII soldiers and unlike legions of stormtroopers, you can clearly tell they are/were human. In short, we hate people and zombies can be any one of any race/ethnicity and it's okay to kill them indiscriminately.

I'm a fan of zombies but not crazy about them, I'm gonna play the hell out of L4D2 on Friday with 3 of my friends at a LAN party and we've all agreed to not play it until then. Something about having the ability to kill without the remorse and having a reason to do it is an uplifting thing which is why I like them.

That part aside I think there are too many zombie topics out there on this website, by I tend to just avoid them in general.

Zombies are the answer to a question that humanity has pondered since the dawn of time. Is there a way to kill large groups of slow moving people without the guilt thant comes with taking a human life? People hate other people. We are all territorial by nature and as much as we need each other. We cannot stand the idea of being around each other for too long and zombies are walking cannon fodder on which we can unleash our violent side on. Have you ever stood in line or been stuck in trafic and wished you could just make all these people disappear. Zombies allow us to make people go away with out feeling bad about it.

I don't know. There's something about taking out vengeance on half decayed nazis that has a certain entertainment value. I don't love zombies, but I like them. I wish there was a more "comical" approach to a zombie game sometime. That would be interesting.
