I'd argue that different religions, including Christianity, use hallucinogens to enhance the "spiritual experience".

But in any case, you never really stop thinking of your sibling as a child. To give you a good interpretation, it'd be like handing a joint to your 8 year old sister.

Not counting silly antics during my very early childhood, I haven't had a girlfriend yet.

Every day I long for a happy, stable relationship... *sigh*

Shee-yit, I feel old.
No kidding. Not only did I not have a phone at that age, text messaging didn't even exist. Hell, cell phones barely did. It was rare enough for someone to even have a car phone. Kids these days and their text-dumping...

As far as the actual question, not until my mid-20s, but I still have the same one now, a while later. I may not have done it for a while, but at least I got it right when I did.

Well, it was her parents...and her over-religious brother..who caught us doing something really not religious.

You should've seen how much the family dinner was pretty awkward for me.
I have an older sibling.

If I would have caught her boyfriend shagging her when we still lived in the same house, I would have beat his ass blue. Religion has nothing to do with it--when you see somebody doing something to a person you've known for your entire life, something that essentially defiles your personal view of her, it makes you see red. It doesn't matter how old you are, how religious you are; it's something primal that tells you to oust him.

well id rather beat someone for doin drugs with my lil sister then anything carnal. its so contradictory and nothing but double standarts to deny someone the same emotional and corporal needs you enjoy yourself but then their mere existence and the girls blind idiocy is the problem, not what they are doing.
I dont have any problems with some guys doing my younger female family members as long as they arent complete idiots.

Well I got married when I was 5. But I guess my first boyfriend was when I was 12 or 13, don't remember. We didn't really do anything. We could only go to the shops, or to the park, or hang out at school. If we wanted to see a film, we had to get our parents to drive us. It sort of died out at the end of term because we could only see each other at school. But now it's very different. It's amazing how much easier your life can get once you discover public transport.

Haven't gotten one yet. And for the longest time it put me in a depressive state until I decided that I shouldn't sulk just to feel sorry for myself. So instead I took the basic steps to help me become more socially compatible.

I'm still lookin' and I won't give up!

My first/last boyfriend asked me out when I was 18, lasted a 15 months, I'd love another stable relationship, wouldn't mind going on dates every now and again but I'm kinda shy.
I've had an admirer but he wasn't single (if you didn't get it http://www.vbox7.com/play:1bb50fd8?r=google )

Do you actually have a sister?

Because I have a feeling if you've ever walked in on her, your opinion would change.

It's not "double standards", it's instinct. Normally I'm a very liberal person. "Do what you want, I don't care, just don't harm me," is generally my attitude with her nowadays, because too many of her little plans have ended up with me paying for it.

The thought of somebody having the same feelings for your sibling that you have for porn stars, love interests and whatnot is what will infuriate a man like myself. It's the protective instinct not to let somebody as dirty-minded as all males can be at times at your sister.

Same - the point where everyone had a mobile phone didn't start until somewhere between me being 12 and 15. Oh, and checking your profile makes me feel even older... I'm only 20, dammit!

OT: Hmm... I kind of had a girlfriend at 5, but that depends on whether or not the whole 'childhood sweetheart' thing counts. Realistically, we were just friends who kissed occasionally.
So discounting that, 17. Until just before I turned 18. Nothing that's really counted as a relationship since then though :(

Either A. 5? or something. But I guess that doesn't qualify. B. 16, if you count long distance relationship. That is something in between. Or C. Haven't got one yet, but will (most likely) in a bit less than 2 years.

If you want an explanation feel free to ask.

This guy be speaking da truth mon..... yea ok let's not type with accents ever again.

My older sister I don't mind to much who's she dating/sleeping with.

My younger thought, damn I don't even like her that much and yet I'm incredibly protective of her it's weird to say the least. I really do think it has something to do with instinct.

I have a sister, and I can't say I've ever remotely had any reaction anything like that to anything ever. It may be a bit of an awkward situation, sure, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw this post was, "Wow, someone has anger issues..."

If someone's raping her or something, go ahead and cave their skull in, and I'll be totally with you on that, but not over something consensual. Defiles your personal view? She's an individual and a separate person from you who can and will do things on her own and make her own choices, whether you like it or not. Stepping in to "fix" something she's fine with because you have a problem with it is pretty selfish and would just make things weirder and probably not make her all that happy.

If my sister's in a bad situation and needs my help, I'll do what I have to, but because she wants/needs me to. As a bonus, because of that, she trusts me enough to tell me/come to me about stuff in the first place that she might not've otherwise.

Not to be totally off-topic or anything. Heh.

I had a girl with whom I was absolutely inseparable between age 11-13, but I can't call her a girlfriend. It was strictly kid stuff. Never even kissed her, and we're still friends (in the same platonic sense) two decades later...and she still runs circles around me intellectually. I feel dumb around her...which in turn makes me work harder to better myself.

I had my first "Real" girlfriend, as in girl I did adult stuff with (or at least adult film stuff with) at age 16-17. Lost my virginity to her the day after my 17th birthday.

Technically about 14-15, but there was nothing really involved and the "relationship" decomposed within a week without ever really starting.

My first proper girlfriend was when I was 17 and 3 years later we're still together and happier than ever.

I'll give it a couple more years before we move further. Gotta do the following:

1. Finish my degree
2. Get a proper job
3. Move out
4. Buy a ring

She ain't cheap, but damnit she's worth it.

I was fifteen when I had my first meaningful relationship, and it lasted for 10 months.

Since then, I've been on and off with one of my friends.
