I had titular boyfriends in high school, but I never saw them because it was before either of us could drive and we went to different schools. My first real boyfriend was in college; I was 20.

I have a sister, and I can't say I've ever remotely had any reaction anything like that to anything ever. It may be a bit of an awkward situation, sure, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw this post was, "Wow, someone has anger issues..."

If someone's raping her or something, go ahead and cave their skull in, and I'll be totally with you on that, but not over something consensual. Defiles your personal view? She's an individual and a separate person from you who can and will do things on her own and make her own choices, whether you like it or not. Stepping in to "fix" something she's fine with because you have a problem with it is pretty selfish and would just make things weirder and probably not make her all that happy.

If my sister's in a bad situation and needs my help, I'll do what I have to, but because she wants/needs me to. As a bonus, because of that, she trusts me enough to tell me/come to me about stuff in the first place that she might not've otherwise.

Not to be totally off-topic or anything. Heh.

I don't believe I have any anger issues, it's just an overwhelming feeling to protect I get when I see things like the aforementioned activities.

My own view of her, not the view I think she has to subscribe to. I know it's selfish, haven't debated that. But knowing somebody else views her in the same way I view women sometimes is what really gets to me about it. It's knowing their intention is most likely not to be with her for any emotional aspect of it whatsoever. That somebody wants to do what I want to do to other women to somebody I hold very close is where the protectiveness stems. I don't tell her she can't date certain people; I have no right to. Nor can I decide who she sleeps with, but it still raises the ire all the same if I'm unfortunate to walk in on that type of thing.
