taste and smell are the least important for day to day functioning, sight being the most valuable.

Definitely taste. The others I couldn't do without, and most of what you taste when you eat something is aromas anyway (aroma = something you smell). All your tongue can taste is sweetness, sourness, saltiness, bitterness and savouriness. If I could choose from all senses our bodies actually have and not just the traditional five, I'd probably choose another one though.

Taste. Smell does alot of the work of taste, and smell is much more important in memory.

Also, if you lose touch you lose the ability to feel pain so although you wouldn't feel pain you'd still be effected by it. You may not be able to feel that lost leg, but you can't walk on it.

Probably taste. Could easily make better healthy adjustments in relation to food.

Smell. Some of my close relatives have anosmia, and they can live very normally, they just can't smell and they taste less (many "tastes" are actually odours).

I wouldn't want to lose my ability to feel touching, like some do. At first it seemed nice to me, but after all, feeling pain can be quite a useful thing.

Smell. I don't think i'd miss out on much, I don't enjoy smelling flowers or perfume so yeah, i'd only miss out on being able to tell what's for dinner without acually looking or asking.

I could stand to lose touch. It means my brain compensates anyway, I don't lose any huge practical function, and I don't feel pain.
So it makes you a plague marine?

Well I would be okay with losing the sense of smell, because I like watching movies,I like listening to video games and I like tasting food.

Smell or taste are the two I could ditch and nothing would really change. I mean think about it never having to smell anything nasty ever again I think that makes it a pretty easy decision.

Taste. Definitely taste, because well nobody would like to lose their sight and hearing, those are by far, the best, touch is great too, so it comes down to smell and taste, and while I'd rather have smell than taste, if you lose smell, you lose taste too, so yeah.

Chocolate.

But I'd lose taste as well, because at least I can still smell the chocolate.

Touch or smell,

Id want to smell something sometimes and I wouldn't care if I couldn't feel anything. Being painless would hurt my body but I could live with it. (So long as I don't lose control of my body)

What ever allows me to play video games and enjoy my food (Via taste) I don't care.

Taste. It was either that or smell, but smell actually contributes to taste, so might as well get rid of the whole damn thing!
