Mine would be sight. I have blue eyes, a scientificaly proven fore runner to blindness, and astigmatisms in both eyes. Thanks mom and dad. I wouldn't be losing much. Can't see a foot in front of me now anyway. Oh, I've lost the blur of everything! How does this make it worse?

Smell, sure I'd lose some of my ability to taste but losing any of the others would be far more crushing. No feeling = bad sex, gaming etc. no sight = no gaming, no hearing = bad gaming, no taste = why bother eating?

I could stand to lose touch. It means my brain compensates anyway, I don't lose any huge practical function, and I don't feel pain.
you dont want to lose touch...main reason...have you even had your hand numb and you couldnt move it properly....well thats happend to me...but because of the way i was forecd to lay down (was taking an Xray) it did it to both my arms.....i couldnt grab my cellphone and wallet off of the table....i had to swing my arm and drag it....yes my arm was still functioning but becauase it couldnt be felt...i couldnt feel when to close my hand and what not
On the bright side...pulling off The Stranger would be easy....of course you wouldn't feel anything on either "sides". :p
......you wouldnt be able to grab it....its like being paralised...i could barly walk afterwards...like..i stumbled downt he hall and fell

Taste.

I couldn't give up sight, hearing or touch and since without smell you lose most of your taste, the logical choice it to lose taste.

I would go for losing taste, I don't really have a good taste anyway... Ha - Ha? You see what I did there?

I'd have to go smell, though in reality that would usually take taste with it. I would hate to lose sight or hearing and losing touch would be really really hard to live with.

A truly moan-worthy pun.

Taste. Seems relatively useless to me. Of course, once I was without it, I'd probably miss it. But I don't want to do away with any of my other senses.

Smell, practically without this sense to begin with, so no loss really...and I gain near superhuman levels with my other senses, the ones that count. I think its the only one you can lose without feeling impaired too.

I value my sight quite highly and I'm a fatass so I'd say taste.

I'd say taste. Because it's interlocked with smell, so I think you would be able to taste stuff anyway even if you lost all the taste buds on your tongue.
If it doesn't work like that, I'd go for smell. The other ones are kind of necessary. :p

I've already practically lost my sense of smell because of allergies and a generally deficient olfactory system. Shut it down altogether, I probably wouldn't terribly notice the difference.

Probably taste. Least necessary.

The rest are kind of important.

If you lose touch you loose the ability to feel your girlfriend. That sucks, never choose that. Smell and taste are the least important in my eyes. Probably loose smell.

There are way too many terrible smells in the world for me not to choose smell. If I could keep taste but lose smell, I'd do it in a heartbeat. SMELLS ARE AWFUL and I wish we never had them.

But hey, what about sense of temperature, or spatial sense (like, close your eyes and tell where your arms are), or sense of balance, or the skin's sense of light (feeling the sun on your skin), or the sense of pain (it's different from touch)?

i put smell, but im thinking taste now. taste is the least nessesary to experiance the world around you. its nice, for food, but it also means if i didnt have a sense of taste i could eat salads without gagging and get super fit.
