Yeah, smell. It's not that important really, sure there are many things that smell damn good but i'd rather keep my other senses thank you very much.

I could stand to lose touch. It means my brain compensates anyway, I don't lose any huge practical function, and I don't feel pain.
I know that this probably wasn't intentional, but could you still you know, slap the salami? if you have no sense of pain surely you wouldn't have the sense of pleasure either? Just food for thought. Which reminds me, I probably couldn't live without taste, so smell it is!

defiantly smell. My dad had an operation and lost his sense of smell, he was told it would never come bcak, then a few weeks ago he went to doctor for muscle problems in shoulder. the doctor injected steroids into it and his sense of smell came back!?

Has to be smell, even though smell is actually a large part of taste and as such you'd effectively lose one and a half senses. Still, rather have those go than the others.

I noticed some people saying they would pick touch so that they wouldn't feel pain.
Pain is a good thing. It lets you know that something is wrong and reminds you to rectify the situation.
If you accidentally lean on a hotplate you didn't know was on, pain makes you remove it immediately. If you didn't feel pain, you would have to be extremely careful and keep checking if you're injured, otherwise, you could be dying and not know anything about it.
(also, without touch , there would be very little action downstairs if you know what I mean)

OT: I'd say smell because I hardly have it anyway, and IMO, there is a lot more beauty to appreciate with the other senses. I would miss it sometimes, but I'd miss the others more.

P.S. I know that smell can also help with danger detection (gas leaks), but that's probably a minor one compared with the others.

I would sacrifice my abillity so smell. even though it's one of my stronger senses...
no sight would suck as I wouldn't be able to enjoy arts.
no hearing would kill me because life needs music.
No taste would be booring.
and no feeling would destroy my sexlife!

Smell. Not quite sure why anyone would take the other options. I love food, I couldn't live without the touch of another, I love to communicate and hear music and I just could go without all the beautiful things to see in the world. Smell I can live without. Smokers do.

If I could lose smell without losing taste, that'd be the best choice. Sadly, one usually follows the other.

I hate most food due to my wierd taste. No taste, more food. Then I could eat lotsa healthy stuff. It would be sad not being able to taste bacon, but I would still smell it :)

...not to sound like a complete douche, but what about sex? No touch, no sex.

I was deciding between Taste and Smell. I went taste because the one who survives is the one who smells the gas.

Valid point, but to be honest, sex doesn't interest me too much, and if I can wrap my hand in flaming cloth and not feel it, I wouldn't really be thinking about sex at all.
