I concur with this opinion, however, it did make me wonder which of the prequel movies is the biggest abomination against humanity. So tell me which one you think is the worst and why.
Ok well it can't be Ep1 because Liam Neeson is in it, so that's just ruled out.
And while Ep3 didn't really connect AT ALL well to Ep4, that's the fault (as usual) of Ep2.
In Ep2, Anakin turns from a cool little kid into a dickwad teenager - the worst Darth Vader has ever looked on screen - and the story effort to connect up to the original trilogy moved very little, so it has to be Ep2.
BTW, Do you have a preference?
Why so defensive? I'm mostly just curious what sort of game someone who prefers the prequels to the real ones likes. Now I know.F4LL3N said:MW3. I understand. Yes but you're forgetting the Neeson factor! it makes that movies into a 5/10 where it would've otherwise have been a 2.5/10, he single handedly adds 2.5 points (or x2 multiplier take your pick).kcjerith said:Conza said:I too concur with that analysis, Ep 4-6 > Ep1-3kcjerith said:A forum discussion involved a poster wondering what order he should show his girlfriend the Star Wars movies. To me it is a tie between episode 1 and 2 as being the worst prequels. 1 has the worst characters (Jar-Jar being the worst offender), and the child acting in the film makes me shudder. However, 2 contains a love story that makes little to no sense and is poorly developed. This would be as big deal, expect for it one of the key plot development points of not only the episode, but of the whole franchise. Of course, both episodes contain poor writing and acting. They are also shot like complete ass. Soooo....if I had to pick the worst episode, it would be number 1, but I can't really argue with someone picking 2.
Well, in defense of the prequel movies, child actors annoy me in general. So I dunno, maybe it was a great performance. I also agree that Neeson provides the best performance in the movie....of course he is not competing against much.Conza said:Yes but you're forgetting the Neeson factor! it makes that movies into a 5/10 where it would've otherwise have been a 2.5/10, he single handedly adds 2.5 points (or x2 multiplier take your pick).kcjerith said:Conza said:I too concur with that analysis, Ep 4-6 > Ep1-3kcjerith said:A forum discussion involved a poster wondering what order he should show his girlfriend the Star Wars movies. Alright, fair enough, I don't understand the child acting critism at all though, I thought young Anakin was much better than the middle one, the eldest Anakin was actually ok until he went fucking stupid.
Well you're out of luck. I hated MW3.Kahunaburger said:Why so defensive? I'm mostly just curious what sort of game someone who prefers the prequels to the real ones likes. Now I know.F4LL3N said:MW3. Other than the racism, you mean?F4LL3N said:Btw, why does everyone hate Jar Jar? He's one of my favorite aliens.
