Poll: Who nuked Megaton.

First time left it, Second time left it and helps the ghouls come to a peaceful solution, Third time nuked it, and killed Roy at the gates, after seeing what he did to all the people in the tower on the second play through.
Have to say the spectacular view of the explosion was the best experience in the game for me thus far, well except Liberty Prime and his Anti Communism chants.

I never did, I may one day do it for the achievements.
For starters I don't like playing evil characters, and I really don't like playing evil with no real motivation. I can put up with playing games like GTA ware I'm not given the choice, or if it makes sense to do evil from a motivational stand point
With megaton blowing up the nuke doesn't make any sense. The guy asks you out of the blue to destroy the town for a very small amount of money. Doing so seems less evil, and more insane, I guess if your roleplaying a pyromaniac you would have some motivation to do it. But from an evil standpoint it would be better to kill everyone and take their stuff

I did both. I felt guilty at first blowing it up but after I got over not giving a fuck I became a slaver and giggled my way to Evilville.

However, the character I am currently playing (Gunny McGun) is something of a good guy, I can't help it! Doing evil makes me feel baaad
However, according to my friend, if you do report him, Mr Burke just ends up killing the sherrif and giving you a stern warning about crossing him - this might not be true, I haven't checked into it.
As for the topic: I saved Megaton. Maybe in my next playthrough, I'll kill everyone first, steal everything of value, then blow the place up. Will you be able to get the quest for Moira if you kill her (I'm guessing you can't, for obvious reasons).
I nuked it and enjoyed it. Once I've got everything I want for my room Tenpenny Tower shall die as well. They shall feel the wrath of my Deathclaw Gauntlet (obtained at level 4 courtesy of random Deathclaw spawn near Arefu and some wandering Brotherhood Outcasts).
I have'nt brought myself to nuke it. My first character was good, but my second character is neutral (and very good at sneaking) so I decided to spare Megaton again so that I can rob the place dry and pickpocket every living being in there; plus, as annoying as she is, I just LOVE Moira Brown.
