What's wrong with Craig? Too serious? Too blond?

Anyways, either Connery or Craig for me. I only voted Craig because I know everyone else will spring for Connery.

He's not actually a bad actor or nothing, but he just doesn't seem like a Bond. To me, Bond is suave, smooth, subtle. He doesn't blow shit up, except when necessary. Craig is more of a action hero. I can almost see him playing Rambo, certainly one of the boxers in Rocky.
Anyway that's all IMO.

I understand. He is a lot closer to the novel version of Bond, but to the average moviegoer, he is more Bourne than Bond. Ironic, considering the Bourne books were written to cash in on the success of the novels, but that's a different story.

Edit: And I know have a mental image of Daniel Craig as Ivan Drago. Must be the blond hair.

Please note that it isn't Daniel Craig's fault that james bond went all sissy and lovey-dovey in his films.

Sissy? Oh, you mean like the actual character. In the books.

OT: Craig for the reasons above - the others are too cheese ball, although Brosnan less so than the others (and Dalton apparently, but I haven't watched any of his all the way through).

Craig's Bond is pitch-perfect; I think people often forget that he's playing Bond at a younger age than the others. Not to mention the fact he fell in love with a person on his first mission, only for her to seem to betray him and then die.

Connery easily. Brosnan comes second though imo. He pulls off suave British pretty well, I don't think he has ever played a different role to that actually.

That makes sense. I haven't read the books so I don't know how he was in them. If that's the case, I wonder why they changed his character for the films?

seriously though, i liked him the most because "his" bond is somewhat dirtier, grittier then the colourfull comic-bonds of the past decades.

Dalton wasn't bad either and I think the one Bond film that Lazenby was in would have been epic if they had put Connery in it. I like Craig so far though, and to be honest, I am not sure why everyone panned the latest installment, as I thought it was at least as entertaining as the previous one.

Daniel Craig has played the most interesting Bond so far, however the best Bond movie ever, Goldeneye, had Peirce Brosnen so he gets kudos for that.

Sean Connery. I enjoy Craig and Timothy Dalton, but Sean Connery has made more movies, and he is generally more aweosme (even though Daniel Craig is quite badass also).
