Sean Connery - sure, the character of James Bond originated in the novels of Ian Fleming, but the IMAGE of James Bond, and everything we've come to expect of him - that suave, yet sophisticated aura, that unmatched wit; that was ALL Sean Connery, and every actor after him is following in his footsteps - sure, they might add their own little things here and there, but trying to play James Bond without taking a page out of Sean Connery's book is suicide. He also has the two best James Bond Movies, with "From Russia with Love", and "Goldfinger".
Furthermore, I strongly dislike people who give Daniel Craig such a bad rap - I personally think he did a fantastic job with the character, and "Casino Royale" is one of my favourite Bond movies; If anyone is to be criticised for his performance of Bond, it should be Roger Moore and his irritatingly aloof and comical approach to the character in his later movies, particularly "Octopussy" and "A View to a Kill"; What the fuck does "A View to a Kill" even mean??
