The most awesome bond actor. Please note that it isn't Daniel Craig's fault that james bond went all sissy and lovey-dovey in his films.
Please, kind sir, do characterize how Bond is in any way a sissy or "lovey-dovey" in Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace. I can't wait to hear it. Is it how he shoots all the people he doesn't have to or how me makes the Frenchman from Munich drink a pint of motor oil? What a friggin sissy :)

Please note that it IS Pierce Brosnan's fault his interpretation of Bond went all sissy.

Not by my account. I think that would be stupid.

I liked the gritty realism in Casino. It wasn't silly like many other Bonds where it almost felt like it didn't take itself seriously. Although I always laugh when they make fun of the old Bond films in Casino.
Alright shark induced death off the table, the film still fell apart stupidly at the end, the villain dieing early, the flip floping betrayals and a new baddie at the end (who isn't even that important in the sequel).

The climax at the end wasn't that good, I know that. It felt rather pointless. It was like "Ok, the villian is dead, and Bond is happy, and WE CAN'T HAVE THAT! INSERT EXPLOSIONS!"

Still, the other parts make up for all of that.

The way I see it, the two recent films combined make a good if long movie. The problem was we had to wait a year to see the second half.

I don't know if the rest of the Bond films will be as good as Casino. I liked it when Bond had feelings. In QoS he's so stone cold that it's almost boring.

But since he makes amends in the end of it, maybe he'll be more pimp in the next film?

Sean Connery all the way. Especially considering the fact that the brutal bond from the novels would not work so well on screen back in the day. Enter the new decade with Daniel Craig and Casino Royale bond everyone always wanted.

Brosnan was good only in Goldeneye

I grew up in the age of Brosnan, so he'll always be the face of Bond, to me. Plus he was the only one to bed Jean Grey from X-Men.

Roger Moore comes first to mind when talking about Bond. It's a tie between him and Connery for me.

Brosnan, yeah.
Craig fucking sucks, they should replace his ass.
What's wrong with Craig? Too serious? Too blond?

Anyways, either Connery or Craig for me. I only voted Craig because I know everyone else will spring for Connery.
He's not actually a bad actor or nothing, but he just doesn't seem like a Bond. To me, Bond is suave, smooth, subtle. He doesn't blow shit up, except when necessary. Craig is more of a action hero. I can almost see him playing Rambo, certainly one of the boxers in Rocky.
Anyway that's all IMO.
It must be frequently neccessary, because Bond blows up quite a bit of shit in every single Bond movie. And Craig is a legitimate actor, not just an action hero.

Sean Connery, got to be. Can't really remember most of the older bonds, but Sean Connery sticks in my head.

I voted for Pierce Brosnan because I haven't seen that many Bond movies but majority of them starred Brosnan. It seems that a lot of people on The Escapist believe Connery is the best one though, so I will have to check out some of his Bond movies soon.
This, absolutely. I haven't seen too many Bond films, (seven) but out of these films Pierce definitely gets my vote. I thought about Connery, but Pierce did it for me.

I was brought up to admire Roger Moore, but if I wasn't so indoctrinated I'd have to admit it's Sean Connery.

The quizzical eyebrow and the panache. Moore's bond had such a great sense of humour.

His complete lack of any visible emotion and the fact that he ALWAYS looks severely constipated, also the dire script of the last film.
On current form Craig's going to be one of the worst Bond's without it really being his fault, the writers are so desperate to ape Bourne they've forgotten that they're writing for mother effing James Bond.
