The killing zombies with ----- thing sounds almost convincing enough to get me to buy it, but it is $60 for the PC version... I might suck it up and buy it, but first I'm going to see how greedy they are going to be and if the map packs have a price tag, then I'm not buying it.

I estimate that eventually a whole bunch of the Anti Activision crowd gonna end up playing it anyways, dispite there somewhat hatefull claims.

I know because it´s the same thing when i buy a HALO game.

AND QUICKSCOPING IS DEAD YES!!!!!!!!!!
Haha, haha, no.

Quickscoping will never die, so long as there are sniper rifles, there will be quickscopers, trust me.

It breaks down like this.

Well done Single Player
Great Co-op Nazi Zombies
Addicting to the level of Crack Multi-Player

All these traits make this a first day buy

No matter who makes the game, when the gameplay sees an actual fundamental changes, I may consider getting another CoD game, but considering MW2 plays just like CoD4 and WaW, there is no point in getting the newest game. I declared CoD dead to me in June. Infinity Ward (basiaclly) leaving was a big blow. Another big thing is less than one year of support before the next game comes out.

I think I'll wait for these games instead of the gaming cocaine that is CoD: Brink, Battlefield 3, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

Since it had the option, I will not be buying Black Ops, and I will tell you why.

I will not be buying Black Ops because Activision is publishing it, and the CEO of Activision is Robert "Bobby" Kotick. I do not wish to support that man with my money, even if it's only a paltry $60 compared to the million's he'll make off of everyone else. As a result, I am pretty much "boycotting" Activision, I guess you could say. I will not buy any of their products until either Kotick is removed or cleans up his act. This may result in me missing out on some great experiences, but that's my loss.

However, I do understand that other people are very excited for the game, a few of my friends included. I wish no ill towards you all for wanting to buy Black Ops, it genuinely looks like a nifty game. There is absolutely no reason why you guys shouldn't get the best bang for your buck.

And so, with this, I wish all of you who are purchasing Black Ops a good game. I, personally, will not be purchasing it for my own reasons and you will be purchasing it for your own, and that is perfectly fine. I'll probably play the game with my friend, split-screen and whatnot, or borrow it if he gets it for PS3.

Enjoy your game. I mean that in the most sincere way I can.

I'm getting it because it looks like the kind of game that appeals to me, which for some reason is not an option.

1)all the shit that pissed me off about MW2
2)nazi zombies and i never did get the expansion ones so there will be 5 new maps for me since i'm getting the hardened
3)splitscreen online which is very very very good if you have a brother who wants to play just as much as you
4)just all around newness of it.
5) everyone will be playing it when it comes out

the single player was wonderfully over the top yet plausible.
Yeah...wait, what? How was that at all plausible? I mean it was fun, but in no way plausible.
Plausible because given the right circumstances, it is possible. Very highly unlikely to obviously.
Your definition is incredibly vague. All you are saying is that anything under the "right circumstances" can be possible, which is to say nothing at all about the plausibility of the actual circumstances during the game's era. And if it is highly unlikely, then it is not plausible in the first place.

OT: I am not getting the game because I don't have Xbox Live, the story will likely fall flat, the campaign will be too short, and the whole thing is being over-hyped. It is not worth my $70.

Not buying it. Yet another CoD game just does not interest me in the slightest.
