no. because..

-we havent seen/know anything of worth about the gameplay, story, systems etc.
-will likely be unstable and full of bugs.. its a Bethesda tradition at this point.
-it will likely be singleplayer only, and frankly i dont want another sp-only game.

As with most new releases, I'll wait until Christmas or Summer sales on Steam, and get it half-price.

after the whole F:NV Fiasco, i find myself compelled to think i will not buy this game
Blame obsidian for the bugginess of FO:NV. Not the same people who made elderscrolls or fallout 3.

I most certainly will. Oblivion and Fallout 3/New Vegas are among my favourite games, flawed as they are, and the promise of dragons - especially if (also) implemented along the lines of Akatosh Mount - is even more alluring.

Well... the only game of the whole series that i have played was IV, and i found it incredibly fun and at the same time really overwhelming

and one of the things that i noticed is that it was still buggy (i bought it a week ago!), and so i knew why Bethesda had made themselves a name of doing buggy games
It's not really Bethesda it's their engine....oh wait that's theirs too, I ugess it IS Bethesda.

OT:Gonna grab it a little after launch.

Bethesda doesn't really fix their bugs that much. Mostly you can just get around them with the console or wait for user-made patches to fix them.

Unless you're daft and play on a console.

Hell yes I will! I've never played Morrowind, so I'm considered a bit of a whore to the original fans of the series - but fuck it, I LOVED Oblivion! Endless pissing about while on holiday, joyful times! Hopefully the story and campaign will fare better, this time!

I'm getting it ASAP. This is my single favourite franchise in all of gaming and I've got a feeling Bethesda's learned a few things from Oblivion and Fallout 3 (F3 alone shows understanding of some of the Oblivion's issues), which will result in possibly the best game of the series yet.

Nope. Just not a fan of the series. Although that wasn't an option in the poll, so I voted "who cares." I'd consider trying it out if they make it an actual sandbox fantasy game that doesn't punish me for leveling "inefficiently" like oblivion.

What's the earliest they will take a pre-order? That's when I plan to order it.

I love TES series, they keep getting more awesome with time.

mmm... cake...

OT, Oblivion was a lot of fun but teh storytelling was a little fragmented. Then, several years later, Fallout 3 was just a dirty post-apocalyptic Oblivion, which was kinda disappointing.

So I'm not going to rush out and buy it - wanna see a demo, try it out a bit first.

I will... IF:

1. They fix the magic so it's useful.
2. Balance it out so you can be a mage or sneaky character, Oblivion was all about melee and defense.
3. They improve the character customization (doesn't have to be just about the appearance, but being able to choose abilities like the perks in Fallout.

And last but DEFINITELY not least!

4. MAKE IT CO-OP! both online, and splitscreen and make it unique and feel tacked on like Fable's...
