hell yes I am! Probably for both 360 and PC, too (360 version for just playing it for the story and such, PC version almost solely for mods). I mean, it could pretty much just be Oblivion set in Skyrim with dragons added and I would be pleased. I mean come on, <color=red>DRAGONS!

I know I'd love to have more Elder Scrolls, but I'm a little leery about it since Bethesda's going about making their own engine this time and have borked engines horribly in the past. So I'll wait to see what word of mouth says about the engine before shelling out for it.

Granted, if I'm feeling really zealous, I might jump the gun. Such is being a hardcore gamer.

I know I should probably wait, in case there's bugs, but good God, it's been how many years since Oblivion!?

yes, because oblivion is actually probably my 3rd favourite game ever behind Prince of Persia: Sands of time (which I got all the sequels of) and Timesplitter: Future Perfect (which I got all the prequels of).

Absolutely. Give me Skyrim now.
My sentiments exactly.

And guys, can we please STOP BITCHING about Oblivion being buggy? It's a great game regardless, and it pisses me off when I see twitchy kill-addicted ten-year-olds complaining about how many glitches there are in the game. Show me one game that was bug-free on launch day. (Hell, show me one game that is bug-free regardless).

I said please.

Seeing as how all we have is a teaser, a confirmation the GameBryo engine has been scrapped, and an upcoming spread in Game Informer, I'm taking a wait-and-see approach. I'll pay attention through the year, and depending on if I like what I see, I'll pick it up.

Not to mention there's a lot coming out that time of year. I only have so much money to spread around.

If it turns out to be a deep RPG that's not sick with consolitis, I'll even go so far as pre-ordering it.
would you like some fact with your ignorance, troll?

ot: i'll check out some gameplay video's and whatnot when it creeps closer, i'll probably get it but hey i leave it open just in case the company takes the game in a complete opposite direction

I'll preorder it for PC, 360, and PS3. I'm going to get 3 copies, you hear me!

My PC won't run the damn thing, but I don't fucking care!

I'm probably get one of them as collector's edition.
I'm preordering two copies, a regular one for my PC, and the Collector's Edition for my XBOX 360.

While on the subject, I'll preorder the Collector's Edition Strategy Guide as well.

(All this said, I'm a tad disappointed that Argonia wasn't the location for the main game. Hopefully, Bethesda will make it a part of a Skyrim expansion pack/DLC.)

No, I'm going to wait till word of mouth/reviews get around. Oblivion was god fucking awful and I don't want to get burned again.

Yeh...

I'll probably put it on pre-order a few months before it comes out, so I can forget about it, and won't be tempted to watch all the media that will be flooding the internet before it's release.

This works for me. You get it day one, and if you have the self-control to enforce a self-imposed media blackout nothing will be ruined for you beforehand.

Still...game isn't out for a year.

I'll preorder it, to get something exclusive from Play.com, but I'll save it till Christmas. Firstly to have something to look forward to, and secondly, because hopefully the majority of the bugs should have been cleared by then.

I'd much rather have the occasional NPC get temporarily stuck and fairly small animation bugs (which is the full extent of bugs I experienced in Fallout: New Vegas) than have inexplicably terrible optimization to the extent of near-unplayability like with Black Ops multiplayer (Singleplayer was still bad, but not as bad).

And since I like Elder Scrolls and Bethesda games in general, I'll get it immediately.
