No, because borders are bullshit.
The country has not done anything for me. The country is a mass of land. What people really mean when they ask this question is, will you fight for the men in suits making sure the country runs all nice. The answer to this is also, no. Because politicians fuck me off and I've not observed one in England that will actually take a question head on.
I find it incredibly backward that people say they are "Proud to be ______". Why be proud of something that took no fucking skill? The only reason you belong to that country was because that's where you were born, and if you were born anywhere else you'd say you were proud to be that too. At best, it's patriotic flag-wanking and is completely unnecessary. If we want to move forward and better ourselves (which you can almost guarantee we fucking
don't because then the big-wigs wouldn't make any money, we need to stop worshiping some colours on a flag and actually start moving on.

Countries are at best a necessary evil; and that's if they are even necessary.
Pretty much the truth of it right there.
The only instance I'd ever actually fight would be if my country was being invaded, and that wouldn't be to "protect the country", it'd be to protect the people I care about. It's pretty laughable when people say they're "fighting for our country" when they're in Afghanistan. Then again the only people I hear say that are the thickies back home that sniff their Union Jack bedsheets in the morning.

Watch and learn...
Good boy. We can all learn a lot from the wisdom of George Carlin.
